Glen does have the best variety of people on his show!

I really don’t like the fact that he’s saying that the Russians are now taking out the Ukrainians power grid and fuel supplies but never once mentions the fact that Ukraine started those types of attacks on Russian infrastructure and now the Russians are RESPONDING!

NATO has no enemies they create enemies.

The US/NATO warmongers is the enemy of peace.

Geoffrey Sachs was involved in funding the former countries of the USSR at its breakup. He was instructed to give money to all the countries except Russia which suffered greatly until Putin came to the rescue. Despite this Putin still wanted to join the Western Club until recently when he got slapped in the face again.

Even in ww2  Chinese cities that were in Japanese hands were liberated by the Russians and then given back to the Chinese people
To me the same is for the Russian speakers in the dombas area being shelled by Ukrainian army, all set up by NATO's expansion
So  it's the West that's expansionist not Russia

You see what I mean? He said Russia wants to remake Ukraine in Russia's imagine. That my friend, is a blatant piece of propaganda. Meant to cast a negative light on Russia's intentions.

13:28 across the Soviet Union the collapse is seen as a great betrayal which destroyed the quality of life of average people for generations.

30 years? I dont think the state of Europe or US has 30 years left in it. NATO is finished either way within just 3 years.

What is so strange about the current Russian strategy about demolishing the Ukrainian rear areas?  I don't hear a single word of condemnation from Fred Weir about NATO and the EU being active belligerents in the war they provoked, funded and supplied with drones and other armaments.  Before this ends, these other actors, particularly the US and the UK, should be made to feel the full consequences of their involvement.

We all know the US and UK along with the EU and NATO, is trying every predictable false flag to drag us into total war on Russia for the US, which is something none of us wants. It's even more obvious with the manufacturing for war consent, that the UK and EU establishment have been pushing out.

There is a stream of thought that, given the size and diversity of Russia that a strong central government is practically mandated.
Russia had no option but war, given the shelling and aggression against the ethnic  Russian areas like Donbas, where 14,000 people were killed before Russia acted.

Why is nobody honoring that Putin succeeded to get Zelensky to negotiate in '22, and they almost agreed, but the West blocked it? It's like you all want something to blame Putin for! Of course it is a war between the West and Russia, but that's because America went for that since '94!

Glenn, this quote from you is eternal. "They did this to both of us". Thank you for your analysis as always. And, for engaging with less high profile, but highly credible folks such as Fred. Thankyou.

Marvelous outlook, comparing 1815 with 1919 and 1990 leaves me with more perspective. Thank you gentlemen.

I was born in Moscow and live here all my life. This guy seems to live in some different Russia. We couldn't own land before? Lots of Soviet people had dachas, and before 1917 we had plenty of land owners, but thankfully got rid of them after the Rebolution. We'll get rid of these new oligarchs, too - some day. And the word "liberal" is NOT welcome in Russia. As well as "democracy".

Humility is a rare thing these days, thank you both

Does this guy not realize that Putin's original invasion was a bluff or to show seriousness to get concessions and not an invasion expected to take Kiev or anything like that?  It wasn't a regime change operation.  All the military analyst said he would have needed a million more soldiers or some similar number.

Had Oeraine remained neutral, it would have been a prosperous country situated between Eastern and Western Europe.

Fred forgot to mention the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999, and the illegal separation of Kosovo in 2007/2008.
