So he wrote up a marriage annulment in his ancient language and pretended it was the deed to the new house.  He was relentless.

To be fair, he didn’t really sell his wife or agreed to anything. Dracula wrote up a marriage annulment in his ancient language pretended it was the deed to the house and dude signed it

This is the scariest scene in the film. This is purely a black magic contract. Orlock wasnt just a vampire. He could manipulate weather. He had telekinesis. He utilized all these things to bring himself what he so desired. Devourance

Bro talking about "poor health"

My guy you sound like a coal miner that smokes 500 cigarettes a day! 💀

And I thought Darth Vader had bad breathing.

His wife was a real freak, but the way the gold price has gone probably still made the right move here.

the scenes of thomas in the castle were the absolute best, i would say it’s what made the movie feel spooky and had me on edge

Everyone complaining that Thomas signed a contract he couldn't even read. Bro how many terms and agreements do we sign A DAY in ENGLISH, that we don't even bother to read. We have sold our souls to so many companies, Count Orlok would go, "Damn, and I thought I was the bloodsucker! wheeze "

Youuuuuu musssst bouuuuunce on eeeeet wheeeze
Crazyyyyyy styluhhhhhh

The way this movie was shot in general, from direct povs was perfect to show how creepy and scary nosferatu was that regardless of all the media you've seen on vampires, he is what a vampire was protrayed back then, creepy, evil, ruthless.

“By clicking(signing) here, I state that I have read and understood the terms and conditions.”

I adore this movie.

Nicholas Hoult really seems to gravitate toward undead themes. Warm Bodies, Renfield, now Nosferatu. What next?

This movie made all Vampirism movies look like nothing. Really disturbing.

The halfling was dear to thee, I see. Know that he suffered greatly at the hands of his host. Who would've thought one so small could endure so much pain? And he did, Gandalf, he did.

"How careless of me, my lord Of course Just so It, uh... We are newly married of late Incidentally, I have letters to her I would post, if I may What was that, my lord? It's providence, as Herr Knock would say".

That vampire is a big jerk.

That’s why you should always read the small print 🤣

It's not so much about the legality of it but rather with Orlok being a vampire he needed to remove the marriage between Ellen and Thomas, which was made in holy matrimony. This essentially allows him to make demands out of Ellen without fear of consequence in breaching a sacred vow as per the times.

This movie was great. Wwitch is also one of my favourites. Can't wait for Werwulf
