One of the greatest seasons of television ever

Absolutely nailed the Daredevil Born Again prediction at 54:53

I really loved how they took Karen's death from the comics, and made it go full circle.
-In the comics, Karen dies taking a baton from Bullseye to protect Matt. This is because there's no Father Lantom.
-In the show, Father Lantom dies taking a baton from Bullseye to protect Karen. This is because there's Father Lantom.

Thus, Father Lantom is the best character in Daredevil.

I also take Matt sparing Fisk when he hears Vanessa because Matt knows he has more leverage with her than he did in season 2

They did such a great job with Bullseye. From how they showed his origin story in Fisk’s penthouse to how terrifying he is when he’s in the room about to kill someone because he can turn any object into a deadly weapon like throwing freaking rosary beads as bullets. And Fisk is just untouchable this season, he really feels like an unstoppable force.

Giving our man a win at minute 55 for proving that he knows how to do he's job by guessing that plot of dd born again

I didn't like the lighting in S3 either on first watch, but on rewatch it makes sense and grows on you. S3 went for a more grounded psychological thriller vibe, and less a stylish noire. It reflects Matt's fall into nihilism.

36:55 It was at that moment I wanted Dex to mutilate Fisk. But I felt like it shouldn’t happen because Fisk should fight Spider-Man at some point.

00:44 Don't forget, "Battlin Jack" was a legend in Hell's Kitchen and probably had a lot of fans and now you get to help treat that same guy's kid?

27:35 Perfectly cut 😂

This season added (so far) my favorite version of bullseye. My absolute FAVORITE daredevil villain.

Can you please do Loki season 1 and 2?

I appreciate having a channel like yours, and CinemaWins. I don’t have enough time to get through every show or film I want to watch and getting such beautifully crafted breakdowns and summaries helps me feel like I do actually get to watch this art.

@39:24 British pronunciation of "psychopath" makes the "-cho-" syllable very light and short sounding almost like "ke" instead of "ko" while the American pronunciation puts equal weight on all three syllabi AND drags out the "o" vowel, and I can hear what you mean because Charlie Cox is definitely leaning toward a lighter middle syllable.

Definitely my favorite season it's just so good 😭😭

39:25 Yes that absolutely is a British person thing. We typically say it as sy-c-path with a short K sound, while Americans say it as sy-co-path, emphasising each syllable. To British people it feels very slow while doing an American accent, more so than other common words so it just slips by.

The starting visual of Matt crucified upside down also parallels the crucifixion of Saint Peter, the 'rock' of god who is most renowned for his lack of fairh. Peter, who asked to be crucified upside down because he felt he was not worthy to die the same way as his friend/mentor/god, but may have just been lying because he wanted to feel less pain (you die way faster crucified upside down). Peter, the only disciple to ever make a move to murder (you don't hit an ear with a sword on purpose as an untrained fisherman). Lots of parallels here between Matt and Simon Peter

needing to watch defenders for the context of the start to this is a task yet its worth

Now that Daredevil BOA season 2 is fully out you could get back on that daredevil train 😁

3:35

Didn't have tk bring that up, uncalled for
