You cannot go wrong listening to any Babymetal live video, all just great.
In this one Su-metal singing falsetto at E5 to G#5 then going into full belting note.
I love this song, but it has only been performed a few times live and have not had a chance to be at one of those concerts :( . You must go see them live it is an experience that you will remember, and you will keep going back.

Nice one, thanks!
This was actually the ninth song out of thirteen in the set on both nights they performed it (February 16 and 17, 2021).
"From Dusk Till Dawn" is one of BABYMETAL's most unusual tracks, for several reasons:
Style: it's a rare blend of dream trance and metal.
Vocals: it opens with some of Su-metal's falsetto (not the first time we've heard it), but the real highlight is when she hits those insane notes at full power in her head voice.
Language: the lyrics are entirely in English, still a rarity for them, and have never been officially published, so the subtitles may not be 100% accurate.
Release: it only appeared on the international version of Metal Resistance (2016). The Japanese version featured "Syncopation" instead, which I highly recommend.
Live history: it debuted live in 2017 at the Hollywood Palladium in LA, but there were issues with that footage (apparently copyright-related, which is quite ironic). It wasn't performed again until 2021 at Budokan, which is where this footage comes from.
🤘🦊

Absolutely wonderful song.  Su showing just how good she is yet again.  This song has only been played live two or three times which is a real shame.

Bit of a fun fact with this particular performance.  Su-Metal's (the vocalist) parents were in the audience for this show.  I actually don't think this was the first song in the set-list.  I might be wrong, but I don't think it was.  Babymetal  tends to do the dark thing frequently.  They also normally have a suspense-building lead into the next song too.  This serves a couple purposes.  This has never been stated as far as I know, but it is something I figured out and makes sense to me.  The lead-in builds atmosphere for the upcoming song (obvious), but it serves a MUCH more important role (for the girls).  It gives them a chance to get a drink or take a quick 20 second rest.  Keep in mind, they are dancing their heart out there song after song. They put in 150% in every concert and they are very passionate about what they are doing.

I mean absolutely NO disrespect to other bands out there, but pretty much every other band pretty much just stands around and sings or plays their instruments.  Maybe they jaunt around the stage here and there, but they aren't putting out anywhere NEAR the amount of energy these young ladies are putting out.  I bet if you put these ladies outside in colder weather in the fall, much like how American Football players play, you'll literally see the steam coming off of the ladies, again much like you see with American Football players.  So it gives them that short break to prepare for the next song.

This is one of my favorite songs.  I love how Su-Metal hits those really high notes.  I get a little emotional even sometimes for some reason.  She doesn't hit those high notes often sadly, and this song is the best example of that.

Enjoy your journey down what we call the foxhole of Babymetal! :)

These longer introductions have the porpose of giving the girls and the band a short break between the songs. They don't do audience interaction between the songs, Su usually speaks a few words to the audience in the middle of a song (often during Megitsune) and they have some audience participation during Monochrome and Karate.
From Dusk Till Dawn has only been played live three times, once in 2017 still with original memeber Yui (who had to quit due to medical reasons in late 2017) and two times at these 2021 Budokan shows to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
The song is exclusively on the international release of the Metal Resistance album from 2016, the Japanese release got Syncopation instead.

Such a beautiful song✨

Now you got a little glimpse  of the reason why we are assert, that BabyMetal is the best live-band on earth.  Their Japan-Shows are absolutly unreal but also every "normal" BabyMetal  performance isn't only a concert or a show it is a experience that maybe change your life.
I am sure you heard that BabyMetal started in 2010 so I think it is time to have a look  to the roots.  My suggestion would be "Headbanger"From the "Legend 1997" (Su-Metals 16th Birthday concert)  or "Road Of Resistance"  live in Japan  or one of my absolute favorites "Awadama Fever"

Babymetal live is how every song should be listened or watched.

Thank you for the reaction.😊
Fans call Su-metal "Queen Su." Her high notes cut through even the most intense metal sound to reach our hearts directly, yet when she sings gently, she looks just like an angel.

You mentioned being reminded of *Naruto*, but to me, the members themselves feel like anime characters. After all, Japan has an established genre of anime featuring female warriors as protagonists.

There is no need to view the "persona" (or mask) you adopted to fit into society in a negative light. Every bit of effort you put into that has added depth to your character and made you a more compelling person.

Good reaction.🦊I'm afraid all your anime references went straight over my head, no idea about the characters or plots you were talking about.  None of BABYMETAL's own songs have ever been used in an anime, it is only very recently that they have featured as guest artists on two songs by other artists that were recorded for anime opening themes.

FDTD was on the international release of the Metal Resistance album (the Japanese release had 'Syncopation' instead) and, before the Budokan 2021 concerts where they finally played if two more times (thanks to a fan campaign to have it voted into the top 10 songs) it had been performed live only one time.

The first time it was played live was at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017, but the pro-shot video from that has never been seen, so we only ever had shaky fancam videos to watch - and we needed a proper video.
oimatsu おいまつ has made an excellent compilation of the best fancams from the 2017 performance and did a really good job re-balancing the audio (obviously it isn't the same standard as this version, but worth finding if you do want to see that).

No this was not the first song of the night (it was 9th on the set list I think).
That whole stage was a huge video screen - they even turned it into what looked like a huge flaming birthday cake.
The subtitles are a best guess - the official lyrics were never published and there have been many attempts to decipher them ever since the album was released ... some better than others, none of them more than close approximations.

You didn't comment on Su-metal's vocal talents with those incredible notes she was singing at the start and then full on belting out "In the end".  She is my own favourite female vocalist for very good reason and it was her voice that first dragged me (not exactly kicking and screaming) into the Fox Hole.🦊

Live BABYMETAL is nearly always the best choice even though the official music videos are all really good and worth seeing.  You have some great suggestions in the comments already.

One of the more epic songs, that does not get much replay. Has epic-ness in every area, must take extra amount of planning just for this one song ( Su's vocal range, choreography, lighting/timing, lazers/fog, backing tracks, intro music) .

Babymetal goes dark between every song.  Every song is a presentation all its own. It also gives the girls a bit to go grab some water and cool off a touch.

Excellent reaction. As others have already noted you'll never go wrong going with Babymetal live. I'm not familiar with what concert this was from. But traditionally and most typically Babymetal always start their shows with a song called "Death". Which introduces all the group members.

Babymetal are legendary for their spectacular live performances. The most elaborate are still the live shows from Japan. Where some of their set-ups over the years are truly mind boggling. They are also known for their dramatic, epic intros. All different mind you but well represented here.

I take the outburst was your resignation from your job 🤣 Dusk till  Dawn is one of my favourite BabyMetal songs and they are many .
Them notes Su  hit's gives me tingles up my spine and she hits them with ease.
Try Divine Attack from BabyMetals PIA Arena show in 2023 live of course live BabyMetal is best BabyMetal .
Hymnodic channel it  has subtitles copy  on it 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

👍👍An Awesome, Awesome, Awesome performance. The voice of an angel😇. Nice reaction sir.  🦊    🖖❤

Rare pull. Most people never get to this song.

Great song and great reaction....well done!

Sok szerencsét a csatornádhoz, feliratkoztam...
