It’s wholesome seeing James just gush about Chelsea every time she’s on screen

I love how James has both told the past versions of himself to slow down when he’s talking, and then later to speed up his talking

I was terrified for a second it was going to be "The Kill Count is Dead, so we're counting every kill in the entire show's history."

Modern CinemaSins wishes it was this iconic

It's so fitting that this is the kill count to finally hit 1M views in 24 hours again. Congratulations to you James, and the whole Dead Meat team♥️

Half of this video is James being so hyper critical of every performance and decision. Love you in every stage, James.

Alternative title: Horror movie nerd professes his love for his wife and gratefulness for his friends, family and co-workers past and present for an hour.

Man watching this makes me regret stop watching in 2023. ill binge the last two years worth of content ive missed

Hearing how the “weird” era was a final nail in the coffin is so sad, it’s some of the best content the kill count has produced, and I think it’s sad that the more creative bits in them weren’t as appreciated. I love how we now have videogame counts!! I hope the channel continues to thrive because it’s such an important part of why I got into horror, thank you to James, Chelsea, Zoran and all the members of the Dead Meat team!

James just remember even if you views go down it doesn't mean you've lost viewers. We all go through turmoil and we'll always come back to something comfortable.

Black Phone being the 'last time a kill count got 1 million views under 24 hours' yet this video itself just reached over a million under 24 hours

it’s insane that the current era isn’t the most popular content from the kill count considering i do truly believe it to be the peak of kill count quality, the more documentary style has really grown on me and has completely changed the way i think about horror and how i watch dead meat !

I want to thank Dead Meat for getting me into horror. I had always avoided horror media, but James, Zoran, Chelsea and the rest of the Dead Meat Team helped me slowly wade into the waters of Horror, and now I love all horror media.

Over 500 episodes, and with this episode being over an hour long? I'm not going to watch this for free, so consider this my thank you, Dead Meat, for all you've done for all of us.

And as always, Be Good People

The fact that this is the first kill count to be premiered is crazy to me

51:57 I’m so glad James is so fond of the V/H/S counts. I loved that we saw so many parts of the team, and having all three hosts was just wonderful.

It's very sweet hearing you talk about your dad. My father passed away earlier this year and it's nice to hear other people talking about it so openly. It really makes me feel like I'm not alone.

7 years of sobriety and 7.5 years of watching Kill Counts. It has been one hell of a journey. Thank you for getting me deeper into horror and inspiring me countless of ways.

The fact that the format changed so little after so much time just proves how good the format was even from the start. Amazing work

13:45 So, fun fact, I'm a college professor who is currently teaching an Intro to Composition and Rhetoric course, and I use Dead Meat as an example of Fair Use principles when I talk about FU for multimodal (not just written word) composition FOR THIS EXACT REASON! Y'all are the only reason I know what happened in the Saw franchise because I wouldn't have been part of their market without the layer of separation, the extra fourth wall, that this show provides!

As a fan of Dead Meat since early 2019, its so weird and amazing to see this history. I remember watching Home Sweet Home before the kill count and live tweeting my reactions 😂 it was a lot of fun.
But that was when i was 23. Im now THIRTY WTF. And Dead Meat not only helped me foster a love for horror movies, but film making in general. Im now a total film buff, and i honestly believe the kill counts helped me find that love and interest for film as an art form.
Thank you Dead Meat crew! I truly cherish everything this channel does ❤
