what my friend sends me after his 15 game lose streak:

Copium but backed by science is scary

PULL BACK THE ELO SLINGSHOT

What bro sends me after he goes 5-15

The best thing that comes out of this channel isn't actually the in game advice, but it's promoting a positive mindset.
Everything in life really does just come down to a mental battle.

You should make a video on how to analyse your own gameplay. That would help people to see their own growth. Love the video btw

I'm going to int my games and say that wizard taught me that.

올라갈 자격이 있는 사람은 밑바닥에 처박혀도 다시 올라가게 되어있음

I'm just going through the first phase of the bounce back effect.  COPE

Winning is a by-product of improving.  While improving is not a by product of winning

This is like when you have to lower your weights at the gym to learn proper form

I was crashing out, went from diamond to high gm only to drop down to low diamond, then I bounced back to low-mid celestial by not crashing out lmao. A good/positive mental state I'd say is the largest determinant for how good someone does.

Spilo calls it downtime for uptime. My boxing coach says "get out of range after you flurry"

I don't play competitive much but in like the one week I did I went from Gold to Bronze to Platinum. Which means I just need to go back to Bronze if I want to become Champion I think.

I dropped from Diamond 2–3 to almost Platinum 4 over the past two weeks, right after changing parts of my playstyle, and it made me concerned and wonder if I just messed myself up and got worse.
Making this video around the time that I faced the issue is a great coincidence and it's reassuring.

me and my friends joke about this all the time we just call it "slingshot theory"

wizard taught me that

Goes 3-28 with 250 damage

“Wizard Hyeong taught me that”

All of these videos are genuinely so helpful. I play marvel rivals mainly but the amount of tips I can apply from these videos to that game is insane.

I was a professional circus coach for many years and frequently saw the same thing. Never had a term for it, but I really like the bounce back effect name. It got to the point I saw it so much I would tell people that it was going to happen so they weren't afraid of it. It was definitely about fixing fundamentals, which meant you basically had to re-learn everything, but it was always worth it
