Chaos Drill utilizes a 100 yard range
1 box of ammo, 17 minimum required with no zeroing shots
Goal: Clean drill under 3 minutes and 17 seconds
Gear:
Rifle with Optic
Ammo
2 magazines
Rifle bipod
Timer
Rearbag
Rifle Tripod
Drill Overview: consists of 3 events
A - Movement to firing position + Buy in (prone)
B - Multiple Target Engagement + Mag change (prone)
C - Tripod deployment and Positional shooting (positional)
Drill Sequence with zeroed rifle:
1) Confirm firing position. If unable to run 100 yards from target or other position, scale by doing 10 burpees at firing line. Run is with all gear in hand or on body.
2) Load 2 magazines with a total of 17 rounds: 6 round mag and 11 round mag
3) Get into run position at 100 yard target, other 100 yard location or firing line if scaling
4) Start on command or beep
5) Run to firing line or complete 10 burpees at firing line
6) Go into the prone position, load 6 round mag and fire 3 rounds on the buy in target (Very bottom center target with TC CADRE logo). All 3 shots must lie in the target or it's an automatic failure
7) While still in the prone, engage C A D targets in order with 1 round on each target. This will empty the 6 round magazine
8) Change to 11 round magazine and engage R E targets in order with 1 round each. 9 rounds are left in the magazine to be used for tripod positions
9) Setup tripod in the standing position and engage the far left large T target with 3 shots
10) Transition tripod to kneeling position and engage the center large H target with 3 shots
11) Transition tripod to seated position and engage the right large E target with 3 shots to end the drill
