NF is the best story teller in music by far. when you listen to alot of his songs that do not have a video he paints the picture and you feel like you did not even need the darn video.
Love your guys' NF reactions so far. Dude is special. He has so many awesome tracks. I'm not saying that as a super fan or anything. His music just helps sometimes. Right now I have his tracks "Remember this" and "Only" playing at my place quite a bit. Maybe if you want, you could check those out sometime. Thank you for your reaction!
One of many things Nate does in his music, is makes you feel the emotions. He has also helped hundreds of us heal from our varied amounts of trauma. I don't want to spoil anything, but when you do listen to Fear, keep in mind that his Grandma meant the world to him. I only mention it because you said you were going to react to Fear next. Anyway, this was a great reaction, thank you!
Better keep those tissues and sunglasses handy for songs like this! I listened to How Could You Leave and cried my eyes out! I’m glad he was more at peace with everything making this song. 🥺
I had a complicated relationship with my mother - she was an alcoholic and former drug user, divorced when I was 7, my dad had full custody with visits with her, she was in the navy for awhile and so absent for several months at a time; she would promise many things and deliver very few, she was the only girl of her siblings and it was a hard childhood; she was so lonely and misunderstood, she created many of her own problems, self-sabotage was her “sweet romance”, and she loved us so so much while also not really wanting (or feeling like she deserved?) being a mother. She died unexpectedly 2 years ago. We had mended, she was healthy, and seemed finally at peace with herself and her life at age 68. Then poof she was gone. Every line of this song is an echo of what’s been in my heart for so long, this along with HAPPY, it’s me all over these two songs. I discovered him in the form of How Could You Leave Us while driving from SLC to Omaha for her funeral arrangements and planning. And I was *hooked*
Sorry, it’s so much. It’s too much, in fact. I just can’t believe this song is so entirely Spot-On 100% on the nose. It’s eerie, it’s heartbreaking, it’s beautiful. So glad you reacted to it.
NF andTØP. Yall are crushing it. Definitely found artists with christian faith and struggles in it. Also neither need to cuss a bunch to get point across. It has been said before that they dont make Christian music they are Christians who just make amazing music. .
Nate likes his piano 🎹 unsure who is playing the piano as Nate does play but also his producer is an amazing pianist so I believe it’s usually his producer. Nate co-produces every song he does.
Can you guys do Mistake next please❤ it's not on the journey, its on this album and it's my favorite NF track! ❤ I'm so excited for your NF journey and we all get to watch this man do what he does for all of us!❤
Agreed it is not helpful when you are in pain to have someone say "They are in a better place." And it just made me angry. There is a God, He loves you, and He demonstrated that love by sending His Son to die on a cross to offer grace, forgiveness, and peace.
