NF - Fear - This was a really tough one

I asked in my previous NF reaction how he’s doing these days, but this video gives me the impression that the answer might be “not great”. I’m not really a physical contact kind of person, but the mom in me just wants to give the man a hug. This was a rough one, but the song itself was gorgeous. So was the video. As a reminder, I don’t suffer from OCD, but I used to be a licensed social worker and I have my MSW. So when I talk about symptoms and things like that it’s based on education knowledge, not experience knowledge. At the end of the day, OCD is considered an anxiety condition and it can be extremely difficult to treat, and I think that comes through loud and clear in this song. Let me know where to go next with NF’s work.

He has his ups and downs through his catalog like life. His music is his therapy and pages out of his diary

This follows an Album called Hope where he was maybe not fully there but had Hope and was done “Running” last song on the Album. What caused him to spiral and was his Grandma died who raised him when his mom couldn’t. She was also a really close friend. She he next song on the EP is Home which is dedicated to her and beautiful song, tissue may be required.

This is the most heart breaking one to me, but also my favorite musically. I care for my autistic child, who suffers with OCD, so it hits close to my heart. Your empathy for Nate was all over your face. Thanks for doing it! 😢❤❤❤

At the end of the video, fear that he let back in at the beginning came and took the keys to his mind (mansion) back from him. I haven't check the list but maybe try "Fear" the sequel to this one kind of. Or if you want some life gems, maybe try "Remember this". That one is one of my personal favorites from him. I've been so all over the place the last couple of days that I missed your reaction! Like everyone else that has issues, Nate is up and down with his. As @NFfan4life mentioned, his Grandma died while he was on his Hope tour. She was his best friend, his rock, his world. Her death caused his spiral. Nate is the only artist that makes empathize with him so deeply. His song Home, from this EP, is about his Grandma, and it's the most beautiful song. I lost my brother this year and I think of my brother every time I hear it. Thank you for caring for Nate as much as we do!

Now that you watched this, you should watch “Running” and it makes the impact of this song even stronger. Especially because it was the last song Nate released before the fear album.

Well go through the album. And make sure u finish with washed up last. Idk if u had a chance to listen previous albums but they all connected to a bigger story if u going to skip them or do 2 songs from this album then skip to other and then another the story makes no sense. NATE is the biggest planner and every song contains a hint what is comin next. I think he introduce FEAR back in therapy session and waited like 4 years to let us see it
