Grocery shopping and cooking for the family looks exactly the same whether it's Ha Giang or our village in Ha Nam. Our family runs a small woodcarving workshop here, and after a day in the workshop my mom still goes straight to the market before cooking dinner. To answer your question, a simple bowl of canh chua (sour soup) is the meal I always go back to. What's the dish you cook the most during the week?
