Bob was great at doing a one way conversion on the phone and his dadpan humor

When Dean was doing his TV show, he was notorious for not wanting to rehearse, he thought it would kill the spontaneity. So during the week, everybody else would be in the studio rehearsing, while Dean wouldn't show up till the day of taping. So just like this, the reason it's affecting Dean so much, music this is pretty much the first time he's heard what Bob newhart was saying.

I first saw this video with Dean and Bob recently and it had me laughing out loud. But watching it with you was even more fun and I was  laughing even harder! Thanks for a great reaction to brighten my day.
I hope you react to more videos from Bob Newhart's telephone skits or his TV series. ❤

Bob was a master of this kind of humour ...I thought Dean was going to hit the floor when Bob said"I'd like a straight man who doesn't laugh"...your thinking of Foster Brooks...great reaction Sarah ...I enjoyed laughing along with you...Karl from Canada🍁🍁🍁

Newhart had a couple of tv sitcoms that were absolutely historical. One where he played a psychologist,  the second he was an inn keeper in new Hampshire or Vermont...that area! The final episode of the second one is an all out assult on our humor reaching a finally of him waking in the middle of the night from a nightmare , stating "i just had this crazy dream that i ran an in, there were these 3 brothers larry, daryl and daryl, and you were a blond " at which point his wife from the first sitcom( a dark brunette) rises and tells him to go back to sleep!
And yes thats not a typo, there were 3 hillbilly brothers, "hi im larry this my brother daryl, this is my other brother daryl" the twins never spoke the entire series until the last episode when they arrived w their new brides who were chatterboxes and the twins turned to them and said "SHUT UP"😅😅😅

Right at the end, after Dean spent the whole sketch struggling to be the straight man: "You're sure you worked with Jerry ?"

Bob was hilarious. He also had two hilarious sitcoms. 😂😂
