The big fat AELDARI painting CHALLENGE!

The Kieran Show

With those nice new Eldar on the horizon, we managed to get a jump on getting our army ready!

We put this challenge to a poll with our members and patrons. They had the choice of us painting Eldar or Tyranid's. They picked Eldar (thankfully). So join us to find out if we can get ahead of the curve and get this army on the table!

I love Kieran's approach of Tyranids - Ill paint all the black first. Lessons learned I wont paint all the black again. Eldar - Pass me the white.

I'm so glad Eldar won...they ended up looking awesome! Purple is my fav colour.

changing the mask was the right move. I can't really explain why the first one mask was bad, but seeing the end result it was for sure the right move to change.

If the "gem" has a socket it's a spirit stone, if it doesn't it's part of the armour. Though I have painted them all as gems before!

The Drukari faces should have a brighter highlight of a fleshtone mixed with white to make a bright highlight because other wise it looks like their crush is asking them out with the blush pink colour.

10am in Copenhagen... printer humming, terrain cooking, airbrush booth setup and gf's in italy. Gonna be a crafty weekend!

"How are we supposed to distinguish which is a spirit stone and which is a gem" it's rather simple, if it has a ring around it, it's a gem.

Spirit stones have a bevel around them the others are just part of the armor not gems at all

If Aeldari Didn't Have Ridiculously Complicated Rules I Would Play Them, Guess They Will Sit On The Shelf Until I Understand Them

The Reaper Masks look killer IMHO.
Reminds me of how the Avatar looks but purple and white instead of lava.

I can't believe that little K has played himself into not painting black anymore but instead the only colour worse!

I'm so glad y'all did the aeldari box, far cooler to watch.

I personally would prefer a longer video with more clips of just real-time painting. More content please.

Fav channel of 2024 for sure, 25k subs in 2025 is go!

P.S. yes I'm watching it again after watching it early release, because I wasn't sure if youtube algorithm would care about the early view...

Bold titanium white through an air brush is the only way I'm able to paint white. ended up repainting my templar army as fists just to avoid having to do white shoulders 😂

Would love to see the white wraiths and howling banshees get just a grey oil pin lining. Think that would make them look absolutely fab for very little work

I'm a new subscriber and an Eldar collector so of course I am thoroughly delighted with this show. Keep it up, lads, and good luck for the new year.
