being a teenager during this era was ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This channel is what The Punk Rock MBA should’ve been

here for the way he says "attack attack"

lets be real "this means war" was proto-Beartooth the album, Caleb took his talents and ran, the beartooth EP SICK  and debut LP of beartooth have the same DNA and blueprint

I love that Caleb and Johnny came out of this way on top haha

STICK STICKELY is still the hardest crabcore song ever.

Fun fact, Johnny Frank got the ideas to add electronic and auto tune elements to AA, after he saw an I See Stars performance, before ISS was signed

I may be biased as a huge Beartooth fan, but Caleb’s era is by far my favorite of the band

Nicks actually a cool guy and now owns a restaurant now where he's originally from and his brother is the drummer for Sleeping With Sirens. Funny story but before Sleeping With Sirens was that, they used to be called For All We Know before Kellin Joined and Nick was on vocals. I used to party with them boys back in the day here in Muskegon. After Attack Attack Nick went on to form a band called Brightwell.

Attack Attack! is like a company that pays low but gives you an experience in the field

Couldn’t agree more with your take on the Caleb album. As a day one fan of them, that album felt like AA accepting their situation, growing up, and making the absolute most of it.

Beartooth doesn’t exist without Caleb’s breakout on that album. It’s so incredibly underrated. The writing is incredible

Modern breakdowns arent breakdowns they are the new "bridge" to a chorus

That time when Caleb as their frontman is their best line up. There. I said it.

Nick Barham was a nice dude. I remember in 2009 showing him my bands CD and he instantly asked me if we had a manager. His project after Attack Attack was really good. Nick was thrown into a situation with Attack Attack where not only did he have big shoes to fill, but was instantly thrown into situations where you're playing shows everyday on warped with no sleep. Warped Tour was a grind in 100 plus degree heat, getting up everyday exhausted, hot, and feeling disgusting, its hard to bring your A game every show. you can see his music video if you search ''brightwell scripts" He chatted with me about being the bassist for them, but I was still young and feared moving across the country for uncertainty when I was already in a band at the time doing tours. it's a solid song though

I have stick stickly on my playlist to this day. Every time it comes on and they go “WOOO” my 6 year old daughter screams that as loud as she can. It cracks me up. Love that kid.

Poor Joey Sturgiss, he was learning as he went, and was indeed THE guy, THE hit maker. But several of these bands threw him under the bus later and said the production sucked and they needed to find a real producer all in the name of “growing/maturing” as a band.

We need an Attack Attack reunion

Please do The Word Alive next!!! That band went through some crazy line up changes too.

You should do a video on Abandon All Ships! Or maybe a video about all the other bands that were Attack Attack-esque that didn’t really take off as much

The fact im just now learning Beartooth and Of Mice and Men were projects that spawned from Attack Attack all these years later is fucking crazy, I could never put my finger on why I was drawn to these bands immediately on hearing some of their works, but it all makes sense now!
