When I was stationed in Japan if I wasn't at work or on duty I was up in Tokyo. At that time we had an island wide curfew, but Tokyo is such a huge city that you could just disappear, especially if you lived off base. Allegedly

Dude gets out of car screaming “Hey Devil”
- Oh cool, he’s gonna offer help
Starts screaming at me
- Yeah, that sounds more accurate for military ppl.

My theory is that, the police know exactly what you are, and he just don't want to ruin your day so let you go.

The military hamster you use for the storytelling is so cute.

Imagine the 2nd Mexico-American war begins because of Lopez was too drunk and an Illinois car plate

That guy in the parking lot was obviously a POG. Probably an officer

At least the stupidest thing to do in the Tijuana story was the car plates. That could’ve gone in several directions that would be even more stupid.

Little did most people know, the border guard was also a marine and knew what was up, but as it stands, the bro code was in effect. Just like those guys that trip into the curb and get a broken leg and arm after trying to steal from the Salvation Army table right around Christmas.

Mans said Illinois and I went "Oh no...", similar experience at a border but it was Florida plates from a family member entering Canada. Mexico or Canada REALLY do not like cars from a few states away trying to cross the border, much less opposite side of the U.S., Glad everything was good-to-go though Ratmothy.
