THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT... here ya go 🧀

Bootcamp chamber: AAH THE BURN!
Fleet chamber: This is so boring can we go home already.
CBRN MOS school chamber: Such is life in the Zone.

Yeah it sucks, but it really clears you out. I was sick for 6 weeks before the gas chamber, and fine a day after.

13:10 CS Gas absolutely has killed people, don’t lie about having asthma to your recruiter. People have died that way.

Every allergy season, I miss CS gas.

That feeling of completely clear sinuses was fantastic. I don't care how painful that shit was. Being clear to breathe it is worth it.

Was at a police demonstration with the bomb squad. The group was primarily kids about 8-11, along with me and a couple older kids who just found the stuff neat. At one point they decided to show us a normal smoke grenade, which was pretty interesting. The reality came when the wind shifted and blew the smoke onto us, which then revealed the reality that it was infact CS gas.
Fun times

Hey, look! The funny domesticated mouse meme marine guy has told another story that will likely cause me to not sign a pice of paper when I’m 18!

CS gas feels like breathing in fiberglass while taking a bath in Tabasco

5:39 I did this at Fort Benning and the guy next to me was having a miserable time. He eventually bolted out of the door only for one of the otger platoons drill sergeants to grab him and drag him back in. Not only did he have to finish but went again with another platoon. Gas chamber sucks but doing it again is worse.

My toxic trait is thinking I can do better

Speaking of clutching grenade at the end of your video. During my time in the Taiwan military(yes it is conscription, no we don't get other choice), we are told each of us will be given 5 mags and 2 grenade under combat load. Our DI told us explicitly that we should only throw one of them. The other one, keep it to yourself.

Thank you for the video though.

Finnish Defence Forces Reservist here.
We had our own gas chamber experience and it was painful, hell, I almost collapsed during it myself.
But know what is worse? Pepper spray. While CS gas fades quickly with time away from the gas, Pepper spray will stay and burn to the next day.

13:51 the pink eye jpeg returns, 14:39 Pack a Punch pink eye png returns

Do note that recruits going to MCRD PI will have a completely different experience than MCRD SD; Instead of a Phase III event (like it is at SD) the gas chamber is a Phase I event and one of the first real things you do after meeting your drill instructors.

My great grandfather was injured in the first gas attack of ww1 by far his worst experience. As for my time we had to recite our service numbers.

Ngl, Ive heard great things about CS gas, clears sinuses and is really good at improving breathing

The look on the drill sergeant's face when we both realized that CS did not affect me. Ft Knox 1977.

YES, IVE BEEN CHECKING EVERYDAY FOR ANOTHER STORY

9:51 I’ve always described it as fiberglass splinters and a intense sunburn all over your body… then you inhale it

For those wanting to know, the CS gas smells and tastes like honey mustard for about half a second before it makes you cough a fit, and your reaction is to take a breath after coughing…and then you repeat this cycle until you find the bearing to put on and clear your gas mask properly
