My childhood crush and I used to watch this movie together. I never told her I liked her, and she moved away. Pre-social media, I didn't talk to her for about 12 years.

One day, I looked her up on Facebook... and there she was. It was incredible to reconnect, and I found out she always had a crush on me, too. But we never tried as adults, we just left the memories alone. This movie always makes me think of her. ❤️

I won’t lie, this is the best scene in this film. James got closer when Amelia appeared, and Casper got the chance to be human again, even for a brief period of time.

I always felt so bad for Casper. He finally gets to be alive again, dance with the girl he's been crushing on, kisses her and unfortunately gets the Cinderella treatment. At least he and Kat had their moment.

And Amelia reuniting with James, setting him at ease was wonderful.

The part where James finally gets to see his wife Amelia again always gets me. He spent his entire career and every last dollar he had dragging his daughter Kat all around the country, searching for any sign of his wife, all he wanted was one more chance to see her again and he finally got to 😭. She knew that without that, he would never move on from searching for her and be a real father to their daughter.

Just thinking how funny it would of been had they gotten Macaulay Culkin to be Casper further fueling the theory that Casper is the ghost of Richie Rich

Little kid? Devon’s probably older than she is in real life. 🤣

This movie helped me deal with grief, but made me realize seeing a loved one again temporarily would actually be unbearable. It’s bad enough to say goodbye once. We can’t magically get rid of missing them.
