HELP I TRIED TO PICK UP MY PENCIL BUT THE PENCIL PICKED ME UP INSTEAD😭

Showing that artists can’t make drawings perfect the first time I feel can be really helpful for people wanting to get into art

Seeing you redo your drawings a ton reminds me that a skilled person has failed more times than the average person has even tried. It's nice to see.

You make it look WAAAAAAY easier that it actually is

I just pulled up YouTube to find something to listen to while practicing poses and this was the first recommendation. The algorithm knows too much

A voice so clear it made my ADHD lock tf in 🥹

Instructions unclear, Accidentally created The Last Supper.

See guys, pikat has weak visualisation and needs to draw it before she can tell if it's good or not is still an amazing artist, so there's hope for all of you

2:35 here is a tip, a really cool fact is that your two arms are as tall as you are, so one arm should be half the human body (unless if someone has longer or shorter arms) you should be able to use this trick to measure too!

I also came to the realization that I learned anatomy wrong! I learned most of what I know through Proko videos and while they aren't bad they can be misleading for beginner artists. For drawing, Anatomy is important to a degree. If you get too much into details (I did, I enjoyed it, do what's the most fun!) it starts to become specialized knowledge and goes beyond the simplified manequin, the fundamentals.
Getting into a complicated topic like anatomy, when I began to learn drawing, was challenging and made progress difficult because the fundamentals are what really matters if you want to improve imo

Dude making 30 second gesture drawings has consistently been as fun and exciting as a good Titanfall 2 match. Lmao

Me having a art problem
Pikat: I gochu

8:42 I’m always amazed by people who can do this in one go, I’ve always stuck with this process and almost 70% of the time, I end up abandoning the work entirely and leaving it as just a sketch.

Pro tip: Remember to never stop heEere

7:44 can't stress how important this is (i didn't know for 3 months)

0:20 yo that's me. What a perfect timing of upload and me finding it

You know, I'm getting myself back into drawing, and rewatching your channel's been a massive help.
Thanks, for indirect support!

Gracias! Voy hacerme un café, y anotar todo profe 🎨✨🖌️

5:07 how do you make line of action appear like that in the corner of your screen? :0 oh pikat of wisdom please give this sacred knowledge
