this is a new channel I'm starting with super-long form playthroughs of games-- giving them the love they deserve (and for all of us to relive & experience them together!). so subscribe if you want more of these!

I can't explain it but the movement in this game feels phenomenal. Just the simple actions of running, rolling, and swinging a sword feel super fluid and acrombie

Can't believe we already got the face reveal. Insane channel growth

My favorite part about Wind Waker's story is that the hero of winds is not an actual Link. In the beginning they say that the hero didn't appear. That's because the spirit of the hero was sent to the child timeline in OoT. This timeline doesn't have a reincarnating hero.

So what does that make this Link? Nothing. He's started as no one. No destiny. No holy purpose. No cycle of reincarnating. No triforce. Just a boy.

He's just a boy who was VERY upset about his sister being kidnapped. As a direct result he took the mantle of hero  for this timeline and acquired the triforce of courage. Ganon lost his life purely because he took the wrong girl and pissed off the wrong brother.

The joy I felt when he figured something out with the earth sage, only to be incorrectly followed by "the Elvis guy!" Is the funniest suit I've seen today

AS A VOD WATCHER LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS FEEDING ME MORE THAN THE NINTENDO DIRECT

the fact pointcrow turned 34 hours of footage into a 2 hour video that includes the whole story is crazy, major props to you man

I like how in this game, link actually shows some emotion

My favorite part was when he said "It's Gambling time" and gambled all his possessions

I never noticed this until a friend of mine pointed it out, but NONE of the bosses in this game give you their name. We only learn about them in the picto gallery. However, in every other Zelda game, the bosses believe their names as soon as the fight starts. It’s interesting.

It always pissed me off as a kid that Tetra went from being a really active part of this story to just getting SIDELINED as Zelda! It’s a great twist but such a lame payoff

this channel is so sick, so many streamers play a game and then just dont finish it/dont upload the complete playthrough. this is AWESOME

I am a HUGE vod frog! I can't state the amount of times I've watched your full tears of the kingdom play through while at work. So the fact that this play through channel is being created is such a win for me and I'm sure many frogs like me. Thanks so much!

"Whatever the wind brought, was death. It show's Ganon as not really a bad guy" I wholeheartedly agree, I feel they don't add it to every game, but there's this Tragedy to Ganon in a lot of games.
Like, he may be the reincarnation of Demise or whatever, but in a lot of games he's the leader of the Gerudo people, and every now and again you see his driving force isn't his thirst for power, but rather WHY he thirsts for that power. His warped desires turn to Jealousy at Hyrule, and he wishes their destruction, but ultimately, Ganondorf, not the soul that inhabits him, just is saddened that his people are born to suffer in the harsh deserts of Gerudo, and never actually get to flourish and have ease like the people of Hyrule.
I always wonder what would happen in a world where the Gerudo people lived at peace, would that seed of darkness not have time to grow within Ganondorf, or would his past as the dark god Demise truly always taint him?

WW Ganondorf is the best Ganondorf by far.
Like, totk Ganondorf has character and is cool as fuck, but this guy is so sympathetic, the laughter at the end gives me chills, he's so done. Such a great antagonist.

You saying that Windwaker is now your second-favorite Zelda game made my heart so happy 🥲 people hate on WW for the cartoony art style but imagine being 12 and coming home every day after school to play this game with your sibling? That’s why this game will always have a special place in my heart ♥️ (also my second-favorite, after BOTW)

if you didn’t come from the stream you’re missing out

That face reveal was so hype, isn’t that right guys

Fun fact. This is the only time line where the hero isn’t directly related to any of the prior heroes. This causes the prophecy of Ganon return to never come true since he wasn’t slayed by the “hero”.

I just noticed something after all these years. The last Link gets the slapstick treatment from a cutscene in this game is when he brings out the Tower of the Gods (note that I said "in a cutscene", since it can still happen to him in gameplay because of Fire Mountain)

When he gets beat uo by Ganon, it's taken seriously both times.
