We are back at it working on the Desperado crab boat and laying down some serious fiberglass. We are cutting Coosa board and building bulkheads to tie the stringers together which took way longer than expected. After two years of grinding and rebuilding this hull I finally made a huge decision about the future of this boat restoration project. Much respect. Knowing when to call in help is smart. You've done a lot to get the boat to where it is and having someone help get it finished and in the water is a smart business decision. Not a failure.

Lots of people commenting that they don't watch any other videos but the desperado videos. What I will tell you Luke is that I believe the content that you make (all of it) is fun and interesting and these desperado videos are not your everything. I think it's a wise decision to allow someone else to take control of the project so you can get back to other things. Your content was never supposed to be centered around building a boat you didn't intend to build for years. Don't stress about these couple of folks that are saying they don't watch anything else. All your content is great on top of running a commercial fishing operation. Don’t sweat it! It will be just as satisfying if you and Riley can give us updates on the boat, and you’ll actually be able to use it in your lifetime which is the end goal 😂

I've been binge watching this channel all day. I was a commercial fisherman in the 70s. Hook and line rock cod. Then move on to a workboat captain for 40 yrs, so all my experience is on large aluminum and steel vessels. So this is a real learning experience. Sure want you to catch those guys.
