Return of the Greatest Killer Strategy

This video is a big throwback to our old "Gates Strat" upload, in which we opened an exit gate as the Killer to start the endgame collapse timer and send Survivors into utter panic. Has this strategy become more viable, or is it completely obselete nowadays? Let's find out!

00:00 The Strategy...

2:00 "pretend I haven't seen her" snaps to look directly at her

Somewhere on earth, Tiufal just woke up in a cold sweat.

Fun Fact - the Tiufal guy (the guy in the previous video’s thumbnail) also features in a weekly comp where Otz recognises the name and asks chat to check the thumbnail of that video. That was atleast the third appearance of Tiufal on the channel as he appeared in ANOTHER weekly comp prior to the Open Gates, Collect Salt video, where Otz knew enough German to translate Tiufal complaining about their teammate sandbagging.

They should cast Otz as Jigsaw if they ever remake those movies. He’s got the mindset down

"Step 1: Open Gates, Step 2: Collect Salt"
Still one of the most legendary titles.
Change my mind...

no way tiufal mentioned

I don’t usually think you are responsible for builds suddenly becoming meta but I did curse your name when I versed goalkeeper Trapper on ARP a year ago

I tried this once on twins. Everything was set up perfectly. They didn’t start to open a gate until half way through the timer. Then I was thwarted by a mofo with no mither plot twist. He downed himself and extended the timer.

1:21 "Let's teleport here and then turn into a dog" I like to imagine Otz just at the food store or something saying this within a stranger's earshot

Hey Otzdarva, just wanted to let you know I really appreciate the passion you’ve put into this game. Even though I don’t play DBD as much anymore I still like watching your videos.

"we have what looks like a chastity belt"

thats not something i expected to hear in a otz video

Cant wait for Tuifal to return for Season 3 of this series

@clorcestv 1 year ago

Let's be honest, Otz, it is not the new killers and stuff that made you want to revisit this strategy, but the fact that you met Tiufal again recently and it reminded you of the first video on this

That title with that thumbnail has just awoken a deep memory I didn't realize I had

By the way, if anyone interested - Ripley's nickname from first match means "A bucket of diarrhea"
Freaking lovely

1:13 That's some crazy camera transition. The editor could have just removed the first camera right away, but they wanted to match them before instead.

The Freddy addon which blocks the exit is currently bugged, so If they open the exit and are asleep they cannot leave even when the addon timer ran out :D so all things in this vid are currently possible with one Freddy addon
