I was around long enough to remember when he considered himself a Trapper main! They were better times ... times of dense grass.

'big brain trapper main' is still a phrase I remember from this channel.

Otz uploading a Trapper video is like Christmas to me. Thanks a lot buddy, I'm so happy

I swear to God I could watch you for hours. Seeing you playing killer, especially trapper, is such a therapeutic thing to do.

I can't help it but Trapper played by Otz is one of my favorite killers to watch. Cheers for the video

I became a fan and started playing DBD specifically because of Otz's old trapper, the satisfaction of watching survivors run into a well hidden, well thought out trap, and having won before the chase was even over, there was nothing quite like it.
And Otz always made such a spectacle of it, the standing still and 3 2 1 countdowns to survivors getting trapped simply made it so exciting to watch.
I do look forward to each drop of trapper gameplay, even if recapturing that magic of trapper on old dbd maps is so rare.

If thicker grass was brought back as a feature of the killer, that could make it dope again.

Hey Otz, a viewer here.

I just wanted to let you know that you are an incredible source of inspiration.

0:32 Naughty Bear is pay to win, legit has more foliage than some entire maps

46:21 "I think you'll want to pay attention to which one it is"
Otz, a single trap was triggered in the entire game bro 😂

Hello friends this is Trapper getting bullied

Steve with the t-bags, running into every dang trap even the obvious ones. Running into the exit gate trap is a certain kind of special... It's always the cocky who fall the hardest

Man, Seeing Trapper slowly get slight buffs gives me hope, but he really needs a pick me up in the next year or so.

32:57 I think I actually remember this whole speech you gave in one of the weekly compilations from a while ago, so wholesome 🙏

This video inspired me to give Trapper another go. I’ve always had a soft spot for him and see him as an underdog, especially now in modern DBD where he’s easily outclassed by most Killers. But still, Trapper’s gameplay can be so satisfying when a well placed trap works and winning with him feels all the more rewarding.

ETA: Never mind, I immediately got dog walked and clowned on, not even a single hook. Switching back to Xeno.

17:02  thank you for putting in the descriptions. I used to watch otz daily so i know what the perks do but ive been out of loop and having visual aids like this is really enhancing the experience of an on-and-off dbd watcher

Whenever I see a Trapper game, I think of a few small add on effects that would help him feel a lot better. Things like,
An addon that makes any map the Trapper is playing on automatically have scattered patches of grass/brush growing everywhere, even if it wouldn't normally have it
An add on to give him the ability to invoke the entity to reopen snapped traps from a distance (20-40 second CD)
An add on that let's him set traps while walking, then toss them a short distance without having to stop
An add on that let's him collect snapped traps at a distance
An add on that gives Trapper Bloodlust faster
Maybe an addon that reveals the aura of survivors within a distance of a snapped trap

I always loved the comeback potential of the Trapper. The fact that You could do terribly throughout the match, but at the very end that one silly trap You set somewhere catches a survivor and it chains to a kill or two.
I’ve never really been playing this game, but I miss old DBD.

omg! Otz playing trapper is the best thing ever! Thank you so much for this video, soooo nostalgic!!!

That relationship question broke - I needed to hear that though, so thank you a lot. And I hope others can get through these tough moments too.
