This is my introduction to Alton Brown. I am totally blown away. I don't think anybody reading this should be surprised, or wonder why. Wow! What a joy, to contemplate future viewing!

Back in the early '70s I had a great opportunity to become a formally trained chef in France. I blew that opportunity, and don't completely regret it. It is hard stressful work that takes its toll.

Alton has been at the grind stone. Even episodes of Good Eats weren't this long. This is peak content.

Also, as a woodworker and knife maker,  EVERYTHING Alton said about the dishwasher is true.
