Hope you enjoyed! The names/credits for the songs used here are in the description, as is the link to my discord server.

I love how you go through the effort of editing all of the flags to be lore friendly, goated

i respect your 'tism bro

I love watching pre-war videos about fallout. I'm like a big fan of pre-war America. And let me say, I've never seen a video that hits that hard. When the nuclear war breaks out finally, that just hit hard bro. That needs to be an edit bro, that would be crazy

there was so much effort put into this, this needs more attention!

I'd like to imagine that in the fallout universe or alternate universe our timeline is the fictional series like imagine somebody in an alternate universe saying "in the 2010s America life was probably pretty darn good then came the 2020s..."
(note I know the 2010s weren't perfect but you gotta admit it was a whole lot better then our current decade as of 2026"

I mean in Fallout it’s literally implied that the Hippie movement during the war in the 70s never happen meaning that movement was what well made the 50-60s culture go away when in fallout it never happen

Согрел сердце старику!..🥹☺️ Спасибо)

Dude, this video is way too good. Keep it up!

Holy underrated peak 🥹

Very very cool! I really enjoy your interpretations and the gaps you filled in the admittedly sparse pre-war timeline. Richard Nixon's election in 1960 is canon to me now.

Great job with the video!

The end sent chills, btw the video is absolute peak

Lemme just get my 🍿

how does a video like this have such little engagement for its amazing quality. Bravo, you made my AuDHD ass sit down for an hour. Great video!

Hey so to anyone curious about the whole transistor and vacuum tube thing, here’s the best way I can explain it cause this should make it a lot easier to understand why everything is so big.
A vacuum tube is a chamber with all the air sucked out that acts like a big valve but for electrons (ofc this is after the invention of the gate system for it but I don’t have the time to explain it otherwise).
Essentially if you have a negative and a positive “area” then the electrons flow from negative to positive. The gate looks like a spring or coil or even just a wave depending on the type and age of it, but its charge actively decides if the electrons are allowed through. Imagine the valve being open as positive and closed as negative, and when it’s negative it repels the electrons back to the negative “zone”.
The size here is important cause depending on what you’re needing to do it can be anywhere from the size of a shot glass to a mason jar to a blender. That said, it can’t get smaller than about a shot glass cause it still needs to be big enough to be vacuumed properly.
A transistor on the other hand operates as a type of minimum-output level.
Basically there’s a negative (input) zone and a positive (output) zone, but there’s also a valve that is ran by a charge. Instead of it being ran by negative or positive, it’s ONLY ran by negative. While vacuum tubes don’t allow the gate to pass its electrons, the transistors do allow it and actively require it because the input can ONLY go to output with the valve. By that I mean if the valve isn’t putting in enough electrons, the input isn’t putting in any.
Now imagine this. The average transistor can be made nowadays to literally be smaller than the tip of a needle, we use micro-controllers which are full of transistors and micro-controllers are so small you can actively misplace them in your pocket cause they shift to the bottom and then they can get stuck in there (ask how I know). Now imagine having to have all of those transistors that make up the controller be the size of a shot glass atleast, and THAT is why tech like pip-boys are so clunky
Edit: ok now that I think about it technically the transistor COULD be in the pipboy but remember that they couldn’t possibly have micro controllers like we do now just cause of how long we’ve been working on them and they got a VERY late start. So I’d imagine their transistors would be about at the stage of being the size of an eraser with the depth of a quarter but my point still stands cause likely tens of thousands of those in a machine (I assume based on its abilities) lined up back to back (again I assume based on the fact that they aren’t lugging around a suitcase size block on their arm) and that gets pretty damn big

I finally found my people! Hooray! Thankyou for all your incredible hard work on these documentaries ❤

But great summery 👍 some errors and over reaches but as a whole a wounder full addition to the Fallout fanlore great job 👏 👍 😊

I cannot stop rewatching the Great War part. This is really good!

Here's another alternate history universe the wolfingstein universe.

57:42 i think they started the war

I wonder what would’ve happened if that anti-war hippie movement in the Early 2070s gained traction & the US government didn’t squash it. This was a great explanation of the fallout universe even though some of it is not canon.
