Credits to devilleon7 for most footage, and Jimmyqballs for Lau and Richardson's QTE footage

kiwami 3 made me appreciate 3 even more than I've ever done

where did we go wrong

Andre Richardson your not gonna be in Hawaii later down in life by chance are you?

We're getting delisted off steam with this one!

CRASH DOWN! (DOWN- DOWN) STRIKE FORTH! (FORTH- FORTH)

6:48 they really gave one of the best themes in the series to a bunch of random dudes

The one Amon I've never fought because he's tied to the mini games

19:02 I love this QTE, Kiryu is unable to read Joji and is being tossed around effortlessly and any effort to guard is broken with ease, Kiryu seems more like he's surviving this QTE than in any other with even the punch he does being more of a way to try and stagger Joji which really doesn't work, the QTE's in Yakuza 3 are so masterfully made with thought put into every action, you can see it best in Lau Ka Long's QTE 15:56 where he uses Kiryu's instincts against him, reading him and intentionally going for kill shots, bringing Kiryu's attention to specific points to trick him like at the beginning with the claws and having Kiryu grab certain points intentionally like when Lau had his arm grabbed and used that as leverage to flip Kiryu

Despite the combat Yakuza 3 is still my favorite Ps3 Yakuza game

Oh my god I forgot how peak Joji's theme is its making me want to replay the game so bad 😭

Favorite boss themes:
•Crush & Strike
•More Huge
•Pure Malice
•FM-Sound’s Storm
•Independence for Violence
•Ogre Has Returned
•Lyricsim Without Tears
•Fly
•End Point
•Hear this in the game
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Zero misses.

I'll keep it real, Lyricism Without Tears is the best song in the game, and I don't even think it's that close

had to come back to this after getting assaulted by k3

This ost is PEAK, definitely the best in the series and that’s saying something (literally every game has a 🔥 soundtrack). I hope the Kiwami remake doesn’t change any of the tracks.

I especially love the generic street fight music, the generic boss music, the Tamashiro (i think?) fight music, the Lao Ku Long boss music, the CIA boss dude theme, the long battle theme, the final long battle through the hospital and the final boss theme… so basically every track lol

LYRICISM WITHOUT TEARS KIWAMI LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Not a boss theme, but I hope they keep Illtreatment.

I just finished Y3 for the first time the other day and honestly, it's not as bad as most folks claim.
