These characters are way less relatable now that I know they each own a minimum of 3 large corporations. Really takes me out of it.

if you like immersive brands in video games, the splatoon franchise is an absolute GOLDMINE. not sure how big of a fan you are, but if you ever do a video on a general overview of graphic design examples in video games (or something along those lines), it’d be a crime not to include it

I’ve always been the biggest fan of graphic design worldbuilding, there’s something thats just so much fun about graphic design for companies that don’t exist! So glad you made a video about this!!

Birdo is Catherine in Japan, so that's probably the signature

Huge day for graphic designers who are also Mario Kart fans who also don't hate Mario Kart World

is that elliot "elliotisacoolguy" isacoolguy? crazy

What's so funny about Para-Biddybud Construction is that the game implies that the company has gone under if the run down building with the company's logo in Crown City is anything to go by 😭

Shine sprite oil is so bizarre considering the anti-pollution narrative of the whole Mario Sunshine game. Shine sprites literally left the island because of how it was polluted by paint and oil like substances.

can't believe they got elliot to design all these brands for mario kart world! he's just too powerful!

The designers who were tasked to make these feel so validated rn.

7:52 i find it really dystopian that even the mystical magical land of rainbow road isn’t free of corporate advertising

8:01 honestly Wario letting Waluigi put up a sign only to drown it in all of his own signs is very Wario, great touch.

oh we are SO back

Unfortunately, at 30:24 you referred to the Japanese themed track as shy guy falls instead of cheep cheep falls. I talked with my friends (who are Mario kart heads like me unlike you) and we decided to let it slide this time.

No one talks about how well made these videos are! The pacing, the framing, the art, it's all really well put together. You should make a film ngl

Edit: everyone talks about it ive fallen for the youtube comment meta help me

Antifreeze is typically blue. That's why it's blue in the logo. (Some antifreezes are different colours, but the stereotypical antifreeze colour is usually blue.)

23:47 An antifreeze is an additive which lowers the freezing point of a water-based liquid. An antifreeze mixture is used to achieve freezing-point depression for cold environments. Common antifreezes also increase the boiling point of the liquid, allowing higher coolant temperature. However, all common antifreeze additives also have lower heat capacities than water, and do reduce water's ability to act as a coolant when added to it.

The constant pauses to stare directly at the camera is so funny, bro I'm deceased 💀🪦😂

22:12 that cloud is a bullet bill. Like sure maybe I'm just typing what I see in clouds in a YouTube comment but no, that thing is purposefully a bullet bill. Never noticed the cloud shapes until now.

"Um, I don't know who this is."
His name is in the title of the company, he's Construction.
