He should have been England Manager, love him or hate him the man was a genius!

The days of gaffers like Clough are long gone, sadly.☹️

I remember when Forest signed Trevor Francis for a million. A reporter asked Francis when he would play his first game. Clough interrupted, "when I pick him"

All the cloughie stories are timeless classics you will never see another like him

My grandad once helped cloughy out of a bush he’d fell into whilst walking home drunk through quarndon 😂

Should have been the England manager. We may well have won something with him in charge.

The road between derby and nottingham was renamed THE BRIAN CLOUGH WAY 😂😂😂 a true caracter

You know it’s a true story because you couldn’t make that up. Totally unique manager and one of the best ever

What he did with Forest will never be repeated

Love him or hate him, hje was one of a kind.  You could never ignore him.  He made life more interesting for a lot of people.

I spent two days with Cloughie in Amsterdam watching an Ajax game & socialising....absolutely memorable time a complete one off 😂

What Brian Clough (not forgetting Peter Taylor too) brought to English football cannot be coached or trained. He took players from the middle of Division 2 (now The Championship) and made them kings of Europe two years in a row. Speaking as a Scotsman I’m so glad The English FA were terrified of him.
He would have surely have won the World Cup for England if given the England Managers job.
What a guy!!

Thanks Deano. At least I was my team win the League & Two European Cups! I can die a very contented Man but I'll never see his likes again. Forest since 1962.

Dean Saunders has got Brian Clough’s off to he’s a T. Brian Clough has got to be the best English manager never to manage England. RIP Mr Clough❤

They call Dean Saunders "the storey teller". Like that him he told the police "no offisher, I haven't been drinking"

God bless you Brian Clough......Such a legend of both man and manager. RIP 🙏

"They can all sing where you come from" 😂

Most hilarious thing here is Saundo's Clough impression 😂😂
Will we ever see another "big ead" 😊😊

I was at a Sinatra concert when Cloughie got up onto the stage to present Frank with a bunch of flowers. Probably from someone's garden😂
