@Auspex Tactics or someone else try to see this I have a few main questions

You can fall back to embark so what stops you from using firing deck X for falling back units?. You can still shoot the infantries weapons despite a fall back move because the firing deck weapons are treated as a part of the transport datasheet.

If you advance a transport that can hold fly units like the battle wagon up the board to block an obj, then the enemy charges your transport on their turn and you use the tactical disembark while you're still engaged.
Can you use the flying keyword unit that disembarked to move then block a fall back move from the enemies.
I can see this working against large groups of heavy infantries because you can just bring another transport to charge alongside you would just have to make it so they either can't kill the flying unit and the battlewagon or so that they cannot consolidate far enough.

Basically, I want to know if you can charge two battle wagons up the board, rotate them for free to block the most of the obj and give yourself room to disembark. Then you force the enemy to shoot you and charge you, on your turn you disembark 10 stormboyz surround the enemy making it so they cannot fall back into the obj.

If the enemy has their own transports you can surround them with 10-30 storm boyz forcing the unit inside to die.

Right after the storm boyz move into position to be able to charge and surround the enemy - you could then embark a unit of meganobz or breaka boyz that followed behind in a trukk that disembarked them on the same turn that the battle wagons are charged using the rapid disembark instead of the tactical disembark.
If the storm boyz live or if the enemy is able to desperate escape then you fall back with them. If you have that one detachment you could use them afterwards to do an action. Or if you don't have the detachment the storm boyz still have 12in movement so they are able to move onto other objs or block enemy units/get out of sight of them.
If the storm boyz die then you hop out with the new unit that just embarked the same turn that they disembarked and attack whatever killed them

There is room in the battlewagon for characters so you can bring a mekboy to stay alive along with using the 'ard case war gear.

I would like to know if there is something preventing this strategy from working because it seems complementary to the new rules specifically the ork ones because you need to be able to disembark within engagement range . then disembark and fly over near the enemy then embark in that same transport with a different unit. It should work because you are able to disembark the rear unit in range to embark again next turn even if you advanced the forward transport.

Also whether or not you can shoot after falling back into a transport with firing deck.

Does the hover aircraft keyword mean you do just set up the model like normal? instead of an ingress move?

heyo, i have a question. can custo moounted still do this stupid trick, that they just touch enemy model via moving and just back and this move still count like fying over and deal mortals?

Hey, I had a question that came up in a game I was playing in 11th ed. I had a unit of marines on the first floor of a building, dense cover. My friend wanted to charge them with some raveners and we were wondering if we have to count the vertical distance for the charge. What I mean is, since the floor was 3" higher than ground floor, does he have to roll x horizontal distance to get under me + 3"? I think he doesn't have to be in base to base contact since the fight is between floors and the vertical engagement range is 5", but does he count the total distance as both the horizontal and vertical distance or do we measure it diagonally?

Models are able to fit through anything their base can fit through? Does this apply to vehicles? specifically fly tanks like the T'au Hammerhead and Aeldari Prism Tank? As they use a flying base which is substantially smaller than their model? And does it apply to walkers such as Dreadnaughts or T'au Crisis Suits etc?

So gargoyles can’t use their move 6 after shooting ability now?

Something like screamers are beasts and also fly so will I have to pay the to the skies tax to go through the wall, or does the beasts keyword take priority in that units movement?

I thought they changed the distance away from enemies when arriving with Deep Strike or Reserves to be 9" not 8"?

Completely unrelated to the video but Mmygroup are having a debate as to whether the ability of the Deathwing Knights can reduce a damage characteristic to 0. What would be your say on this?

Add a movement comment...😂

so we have the rules.  when are we going to get all the army changes?  what book will those be in?
