When you are desperate,  you will hear yourself and think you heard God.

Overtime, I've noticed that the interviewer constantly shows empathy and allows the guest to speak without unnecessary interference. Very rare skill. My heart goes out to you. God will restore all you've lost.

A broken courtship is far better than divorce

My experience has taught me that meeting someone in church doesn't make them a Christian. Thank God you experienced all the red flags before marriage.

I am so glad she believed the red flags and canceled. I recently broke my engagement 3 months in , due to the red flags I saw .Though he never had the guts to raise his hand at me , I had already detected anger and narcissism , bipolar disorder , amongst other things from our interactions amongst other issues. Each time I told him , he was in denial! Very argumentative, entitled and lacked conflict resolution skills. I believe he was one of those men that think if you engage a woman, she will be too excited about marriage and she can’t leave . Especially in this US where men have the notion that single moms are desperate for marriage. I gave him a last chance by recommending that he seeks counseling and mental health help for his anger issues and the other issues. I gave him one week, he didn’t do it and  I was done ! Blocked him and moved on. He couldn’t believe it and started emailing me to beg ! I was done and have had so much peace since then . Ladies please don’t compromise when you see red flags. There is a reason why you don’t cross a street traffic red light ! My sister, thank you for sharing . And to the interviewer, you definitely did a very good job 👏🏽 👏🏽👏🏽

If the man starts abusing you before you put on the ring, RUN! Don't wait: RUN!!!!

I believe the most important thing that we need to do as empowered women, is to be a mirror for other women to see their magnificent selves. Every woman needs to know her inherent value.
