First here ,marking attendance

Chanel you did my make up for my wedding in 2015 and I always remembered how warm and kind you were, I was very nervous and I appreciated that. Had no idea you were going through so much. Such a strong courageous character. Thank you for sharing, this will help so many. ❤

I think it’s important for women to tell their stories. It can help so many other women.

I remember when I used to watch you back then and prior to meeting him, you had given yourself a deadline to get married and you were so excited when you got married by the deadline. Satan sends people too when he knows what we want.

I need a Netflix doc on immigrant men praying on Western women. I was a victim. Thanks for sharing Sis.

The way so many YouTubers are coming out gives me pride! No more suffering in silence

8:46  Straight to the story here.

Thank you, Chanel, for having the courage to share your story.
Ladies, please take note don't rush. I also attended that church when I was younger, and I noticed similar patterns with this individual.

Please be cautious of any man who tries to rush you down the aisle. A healthy relationship allows time to build trust, observe character, and make wise decisions. When someone is pushing for marriage unusually quickly, it's worth asking why. There may be ulterior motives that aren't immediately obvious.

Take your time, trust your instincts, and don't let anyone pressure you into a lifelong commitment before you're truly ready.

It is also crucial to know your worth before entering marriage. Go into marriage from a position of strength, confidence, and self-respect not from a place of fear or desperation.
Never let your value depend on whether you are married or on how society perceives you. Your worth is not defined by your relationship status. A healthy marriage should complement your life, not determine your identity.
Take the time to know who you are, establish your boundaries, and recognise the value you already possess. The right person will respect your worth rather than expect you to compromise it.

Chanel, you are speaking on things that many women have been silenced on. Keep going, you have an army behind you!

Who cares what anybody says girl! This is your experience. We are here to listen, learn, and support you! We need these conversations! 💕

It’s about damn TIME you spoke your truth.. you never really know what someone is dealing with behind the scenes… domestic what?? SIS. Please… share the rest of the story, patiently waiting and I just thank God for your life  🙏🙏

Oh wow thank you so much for sharing your story.  I just came out of a one month relationship with ab "apostle " found out he has a three months old baby, believed in sex before marriage.  Wanted to get married so soon . Was intimidated by the fact that i earn more than him and assumed I wont be submissive.  It was short because I  really did fall for him and his promises in this short space. But hearing this, i think i made a good choice for myself and it was indeed a divine protection from God. I cant wait for part two 🎉

Oh Chanel, you are so brave to share this story. I’m completely shocked that you went through all that. Thank you Lord for bringing my sister out of a horrible situation. The manipulation of man does not represent what God has in store for us. Peace and Blessings to you and your family.

This is your TRUTH...tell it, so  others can look for signs...

I just think people need to listen when someone is sharing their very own story. Some of us are way to nuff with ourselves doubting someone else ode story. It had happened to me with my ex husband and I waited and got him good on live and the world saw I was being abuse by a monster. I went on live and he didn’t even know I was on live. Speak your truth Chanel.

Chanel this is your story. You are going to save alot of women. They are going through your story and they also need to find the courage to make a decision

As a man, being in Church forever and as a Nigerian... I am so proud of you

This is what the Bible calls the children of disobedience. When a father is alive and says he won't attend a daughters wedding, then there's fire on the mountain. It's a reason to pause and sort things out before proceeding.

What many people don't realise but is now becoming abundantly clear is staying unmarried or childless before the rise of social media, was courageous. Choosing yourself and not settling takes courage in a society that used to try and shame women for not doing so.

Rushing into marriage is heightened with Nigerians especially for residency I'm sure
