Omg. RIP Eric Dane (Cal Jacobs)😔

The fact all this happened in one school year is insane

I will NEVER get over Lexi and Fez

Hearing this recap made me realise I had no business watching this show during my early teens 😭

This shit is about to be like Stranger Things…nothing is getting answered 😭

I think overall a good recap. Just a few things I felt were a bit glazed over:

- Jules being trans and the dynamic that plays with both Nate and Cal suppressing their sexual identity/desires.

- Cassie completely changing her look to be a carbon copy of Maddy (pin straight hair, wearing the same outfits as Maddy, etc) because she desperately wanted Nate to love her and look at her the way he did with Maddy.

- The intensity of the backlash Lexi got from her friends as they realized the play was about them

lexi and fez were supposed to be end game 💔rest in peace angus cloud

The fact that they took so long to make S3, we’ve lost 2 great characters. RIP Eric & Angus

the 2 special episodes are so important i hate how they just ignored them in season 2
so much went wrong in season 2 omg

Important to note a lot of the “sex” is just statutory rape. And the sexual “empowerment” is misogyny telling the young girls in the show that they can only be valuable through sex/men.
Whether it’s Kat becoming a cam girl, Jules seeking clandestine hookups, or Maddie and Cassie going in and out of unhealthy relationships. The girls are only finding comfort in relationships with men where they are exploited, assaulted, and emotionally harmed because they feel they don’t deserve any better.
Unfortunately Sam Levinson doesn’t know how to write women enough to frame each situation for what it actually is.
I love a lot of the storylines/characters, but I cannot tolerate how often this show perpetuates rape culture.

kat’s bob catching a stray in this video is sending me 😂😂😂😂

i think jules really did love rue but the pressure of rue's codependency was too much. she's also sort of still coming to terms with her queerness in the first season, like she'd thought she was straight, and those things compound to make it difficult for her to show her affection in the same way we see from rue. tbh i'm scared where they'll take her in s3 cus she was my fav in s1 and i loved her special episode so much :/

did i need a recap no, did i watch anyway yes

21:55 I thought part of it was that he actually did have an obsession with Jules. Nate is inherently disconnected from himself, and I think he has an infatuation with Jules because she is able to be herself through being transgender.

when elliot was introduced i instantly felt fear for the future

i’m soooo sad we will never get fexi again :(((

we got 2 skins deep dives and now euphoria?? im in heaven 😝

Zendaya’s performance in this show as a crash out is just so good that I’ll force myself to watch it to see how it ends 😅

Good video. It’s the show that’s the problem.😭 very triggering as a survivor. The creators sexualized anything and everything in this show about teenagers. The fact that Jules was statutorily raped, and the fact that Maddie was statutorily raped by Tyler…it’s a lot and it’s not really framed that way

"in season 2 its not so hilarious" DONT REMIND ME
