Finales so bad that he remembered his login

The show stopped being about taking down Vought and the evil corporate overlords because Amazon didn't want its audience getting any ideas.

The biggest problem is saving everything for the final few episodes, instead of ending them when they naturally should end.

33:45 I wonder why the Amazon show pivoted away from holding evil power-hungry corporations accountable 😅

The boys final season was rushed but Euphoria's last season was straight up a different show

Lesley's actor (Rue and Gia's mom) is also someone who was mistreated. She was underpaid for Euphoria and hasn't been able to book any big roles which is crazy because she's quite a good supporting role at the very least. She has been making jokes about the fact that she was working on one of the biggest teen dramas of the decade but still is struggling to pay her whilst her cast mates are multi-millionaires. They didn't even tell her directly that she would be returning for this season, they just posted her as a returning cast member and that's how she found out. Justice for her honestly because she acted her butt off even though she got nothing out of it. HBO, the industry and/or Sam did her dirty.

Hunter Shaffer wrote Jules’s special episode herself, and like you said, it was the best of the show. Hunter wrote a better story than Sam ever could, and he resents her for it.

Euphoria is like a car crash that’s taken me 7 years to drive around. I’ve never touched this show & I never will.

Squid Game, Stranger Things, The Boys, all shows that start off great but fumbled their ending, all for the sake of either milking said title of the show into a large, multi-media property, so that Executives can churn out more ways to make them more money

The fact the commentary on Sam Levinson from The Idol video still perfectly applies is hilarious lol

YES. The Boys finale ABSOLUTELY needed to be two episodes with Butcher as the true final boss. Sadly, we had to spend 60% of the season's runtime on a spinoff and a plot twist that had no impact at all on the endgame. Kripke, once upon a time you knew how to S5 finale real good.

Him saying he wanted a "Realistic ending" was so dumb because i know so many people that got clean and stay that way to this day. I hate Sam i am.

The final season curse also known as terrible writing.

Hiring Hans Zimmer as the composer of Euphoria is like hiring Gordon Ramsay as your school cafetaria cook and every day you've got five course meals during lunch breaks.

Greed is killing some of our favorite shows. They will keep making it until people hate the shit out of it.

It says so much about Sam Levinson that left to his own devices, with no other artists to steal from, to end his edgy TV show he serves up a poorly executed Tarantino homage. Dude, Tarantino was edgy in 1994 THIRTY YEARS AGO. How embarrassing.

1:14 The Good Place has a great ending with a lot of heart. It was final and tied up loose ends.

@mattenga0079 3 months ago (edited)

the fact that one dude made a short horror version of the boys finale in a couple weeks which was better than the finale is what gets me

Personally, I think most of these shows start floundering around before their final season, but people treat those flaws as accidents instead of the author not giving a shit.
