''The BMW move over poor person'' - the best Top Gear line ever.

760Li is supposed to compete with the S65 AMG because both are V12s, whereas the S63 AMG is supposed to compete with the 750Li because both are V8s.

Extraordinary cars in all aspects. There's no winner, comes down to little personal preferences.

10 years later that 7 series lost 80% of its original value.

Watching the 760 drift and just being man handled by the stig it was rather spectacular

Freaking 10 years back... Time flies faster than anything else on the planet..

Watching this, again, 13 years later, and seeing a 7 series for under $100K is mindblowing.

"Mercedes S63, you're fired", one of the better lines from James May.

German engineering never ceases to amaze.

Both are utterly awesome.

Nobody forgot about it. For the price of the S65, you could have a 760Li and an M3 both. This is a price-point comparison. Top Gear knew exactly what they were doing when they pitted these cars against each other.

So they raced the V12 Twin turbo BMW vs V8 naturally aspirated Mercedes and won, even though Mercedes has the V12 in the S65...Huh??? How is this not bias. Somebody favors Bavarian Motor works! Nothing wrong with them but lets go cylinder to cylinder BBC.
