My favourite self-researched stat.  If you add together all Spurs' finishes from 2010-2024, then take the average, their average position is 6th.  However, if you add in the 2025 season, where they finished 17th, and do the same thing, their average position is still 6th.  This serves to emphasise just how 6th Tottenham are.

Just a little sidenote to the story of Chelsea's founding - I think a video on William Foulke, who was their goalkeeper in those first few years, would be very well received. Everyone thinks of him as 'Fatty Foulke' and he's thought of with ridicule and hilarity by modern fans - yet in his time, the opposite was true. Yes, he was genuinely massive, but he was renowned as one of the finest goalkeepers in the world. People flocked to matches just to see Foulke play, but not because he was a curiosity or circus freak show...they wanted to see him, because he was the best in the business. It's such a crying shame that our bias toward recentism has led him to be the butt of jokes, when in his lifetime, he was literally, and figuratively, a giant among men.
