Bridge Road in Richmond may not be as busy as it was during its heyday, but beneath the empty storefronts and changing streetscape lies a thriving food scene full of local gems, passionate owners, and unforgettable flavours.

In this episode, local guide Richard takes us on a journey down one of Melbourne's most iconic roads to uncover some of its best hidden eats. We start at Little Bridge Café, where Lina has been serving locals for over 20 years with her ever-changing menu of za'atar wraps, homemade soups, and warm hospitality. From there, we stop by Tofulicious for affordable and flavour-packed vegan bowls before discovering one of the most unique cafés on Bridge Road—a laundromat café serving chilli honey cream cheese macadamia bagels.

To finish our adventure, we visit local favourite Argies Empanadas for freshly baked empanadas loaded with flavour and paired with an incredible chimichurri sauce.

While Bridge Road may have changed over the years, it remains a culinary playground with something for everyone.
