Only one man can define the chicken burger and that’s CLAYTON !

The difference is bread sliced with items placed on it is a sandwich and anything on a bun is a burger. Americans don’t know the difference between a high school and a shooting range so it’s only fair for them to get a sandwich wrong….

Burger is a round roll , sandwich is bread 2 slices

If they use buns.... its a burger.
If they use sliced/flat bread it's a sandwich.

Buns means burger, bread means a sandwich!
Their calling it a sandwich no doubt gives their customers a pleasant surprise.

A burger is technically a type of sandwich because it features an edible filling (the patty) between two pieces of bread (the bun). For some reason Americans choose to call a chicken burger a sandwich and a beef burger a burger. Therefore, I think burger and sandwich are both technically correct for both chicken and beef.

The classic chook sandwich place looks sooo good

I totally agree with Chris, it's a burger. Pretty much everyone is correct when the say that the Americans consider a burger is a minced/ground patty.

made with buns ? = burger ... made with bread ? = sandwich and rolls will always be rolls , dont ask me why ? it was so in 1798 when this debate went formal in boston so who am i to argue ?

One is in sandwich bread, the other is in burger buns. Simple as. Americans get confused.

Juanita Peaches is owned by the same people as Taco Truck and Beatbox Kitchen. Years ago before they opened Juanita Peaches that Brunswick shop was just an All Day Donuts shop, so yes I believe they’re all made in house. Every Saturday lunch time the Taco Truck would be parked out the front of the shop and we’d get tacos for lunch followed by a cheeky donut for dessert. Those were the days!

You’re from Australia so you use the local language. It’s a chicken burger.

Imagine you called it a chicken sandwich. I’m expecting slice bread now and not a bun.

You don’t need to appease the US audience. They know what a chicken burger is. If I watch a video from someone from the US, I’m not going to say “it’s a burger”. It’s just what it’s called over there.

It’s called that everywhere in the world except the US and maybe Canada.

Try K crunch in fairfield tbh it's the best chicken thigh burger at $17 I've ever had, juicy and crunchy! Chicky boy tastes good too but they use chicken breast at $20 and quite soggy bun from runny sauce.
