Thanks! I was able to get 2 bad coils out and replaced, spark plugs replaced, and radiator cleaned/reinstalled with help from this video. Looking forward to more /6 and K16 content in the future.

I loved the way that you took the time and extra effort to explain step by step by step knowing how we will be there trying to follow along ourselves trying to do this job. I am grateful for your great communication skills. I am not so afraid to attempt this now.

Great video with all the details to allow someone less knowledgeable to do this type of work. Thank you!

Been waiting for this video.

Thank you for this video. Very well put together and informative

Subscribed, even don’t have BMW yet

Great video, Childs play for him, however this work is way beyond my limited mechanical skills. I'll have to pay BMW buckets to get my valves adjusted.

Great video again. If you're looking for content ideas, repairing a stripped cylinder stud and removing/resealing around the cylinder jugs. I just completed both of these on a 94 R1100RS and had to piece together several "old" YouTube videos. Grateful for them but it would be nice to see an updated version.

I like your videos really is great. I didn't find for K bike Valve adjustment, Can you explain and maybe made video? (K1200, K1300, K1600)

Wow what a job - I’m interested in a K16 Grand America but I think maybe I’ll stick to the 1250 platform! At least BMW use real hardware for panel attachments rather than the push pins that Honda uses on the Goldwing. Great video 👍

Great video.  Convinced me that with my skill level....I should probably just drop the $$$ to have it done.  Still an interesting look at the insides of the bike.

Nice enlightening vid. What state do you operate out of? And, what’s your opinion on the K 1600 gtl series used bikes? Is there a year that the bike was better or worse than other years? Thanks.
Jesse

One of my concerns about the K1600 was I'm used to working on my R1150 GS and my K1200LT, and I thought the K1600s would be too much of a pain to work on.  I feel much more comfortable about the likelihood of being able to work on a K1600.  Thanks!

Great video,  i love the guys crying about doing or paying for maintenance.  The best bike to buy is the low mileage just out of warranty from someone who thinks it's smarter to keep buying a new bike.

you forgot to tight the valves cover my friend :)

Nice video, thanks for posting. What does this generally cost if you have a pro do it? The belt and valve service on my Duc is around $2300. Wondering how this compares.

Great video. Which side is the number one cylinder? Throttle or clutch side?

I'm very good at taking things apart but putting it back together is where I have issues.  If I did this I would be taking off parts of a K1600 and when I put it back together I'll end up with a poorly running golf cart looking thing.

👍👍👍

You missed a great opportunity to thoroughly clean the radiator while it was off the bike.
