Louise is usually the one asking the questions. Through Brave Every Day, she gives people space to talk about some of the hardest parts of their lives. This time, we wanted to hear hers.
Louise joins Brian Murphy and Rich Williams to talk about six years of bullying, a serious illness that left her on life support, and the abusive relationship she entered after recovering. She explains why she kept what was happening from her family, and what it took to feel safe enough to trust someone again.
What stayed with us was how much she still wants to help people. Having spent years feeling that her kindness was being taken advantage of, she is now using her experience to help others feel heard and find the confidence to speak.
We talk about the family who helped her rebuild, the small things she does to build her son’s confidence, and why creating Brave Every Day meant finding the courage to share her own story too.
There’s also time for tax-return requests, Timmy Mallett glasses and the usual grief for Harri.
