The thing is that all versions of Tusk have to be aimed at the opponent, something that makes Johnny vulnerable. The moment Johnny even thinks of going after Wonder of U, Calamity will be triggered and all sorts of things may occur. It doesn't matter if you have the strongest one-hit attack if you don't have the chance to use it.

Tusk Act 4 - maxed out the physical attack stat
Wonder of U - uses cheat codes
Soft & Wet - goes into command prompt
Jodio's Villain - goes to the source code
Jodio - reconfigures the base system's mechanics

"Soft and Wet: Go Beyond is not the same as Tusk: Act 4"
Thank you, I truly needed this obvious information spelled out to me.

“Get into JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure!” they said…

“It’s just about hot men and punchy ghosts” they said…

I think you two are right ! Tusk Act 4 was built to counter D4C and Go Beyond to counter WoU and calamity. And even though Johnny don't have the biggedt chances to beat Tooru, I think it would be interesting to see if Josuke could beat Valentine (with and without Love Train). I also find pretty ironic the fact that Valentine is one of the few character that would be able to counter calamity and even beat Tooru, but that Johnny (who defeated Valentine) would not. Classic JoJo powerscaling if you ask me where what matters are circumstances more than the actual capabilities of a stand (at least most of the time.

Just a mention, but in the new asbr dlc for Wonder of U, tooru admits directly he feels threatened by the spin and his victory dialogue is saying he will leave johnny be cuz he is afraid he is vulnerable against him. I know it is technically not canon, but that game is really loyal to the roots of the manga. Nonetheless, interesting timing since this dlc dialogue was released like yesterday

Have you seen the single attack theory by Other Meanings?  Johnny used Tusk to try to save his son, but Tusks ability doesn’t ever disappear when it is the golden rotation and you see Johnny on the horse. Essentially in that scene, Johnny was attacking the calamity on his child, but since the attack would attack infinitely it would fail to hit calamity. He instead was shot by his own bullet and thus he was killed even before the exchange finished. we see the bolder crush his head separately to the rock disease too. So if Tusk never disappears , it would enter the exchange and manipulate two unrelated parties to join to break the higashikata curse that affected Johnnys son in the past.

The reason tusk can move in time stopp Is cause well hes infinite gravity. The only things that can transcend time is gravity. As seen with extreme time dialation around black holes which are very reminiscent of tusk’s infinite spin.

Im absolutely in love with astrophysics and how well Araki wrote it into tusk

WoU really is on a tier of its own

I wonder if hiding inside the wormhole of act 3 could protect Johnny from calamity. That could probably give him an advantage

i would like to make an minor argument for act 4, WOU still takes the win though. in the flash back johnny did technically destroy the curse but only on his side of the family, because there are no mentions of george the 2nd, joseph, holy, or kira getting it, but having to die to do this gives WOU the win con.

Johnny did remove the curse from HIS family. Notice how none of his descendants get the rock disease, but you would say Holly had the disease although she actually was a guinea pig for the rockakaka which is why she had something that was similar to the rock disease but was in reality very different

This video presents some interesting arguments however it is explicitly said in part 7 that "spin" is the phenomenon of something spinning, anything that spins has some form of spin. TA4 uses the golden ration to reach a form of infinite spin while Josuke used his own determination and the fact that his ability is actually spinning to reach an infinite spin. they are 2 very different ways but again spin is said in part 7 not to be an individualistic power but a natural phenomenon and the characters my access it in different ways but the outcome is still that spin. The source of go beyond is still spin cuz there is one constant variable called spin as suggested in part 7. This is further supported when in part 8 when the Plant Appraiser points out that because josuke's actual power is to spin, now he has a chance to win. He didn't need to know how the spin worked and how it was manifested, purely a form of spin being present would've been their win factor. This supports the fact said in part 7 by araki that spin is a constant and how you get it can be different but the source of why spin has so much power would also be constant. As said in part 7 spin gets it's strength from manipulating gravity. So I think TUSK can hurt wou much like how go beyond can, but much like how it was in part 8 it depends on the scenario because even in part 8 things had to play in very certain ways for josuke to be able to use go beyond on wou. So i think tusk could hurt wou but wou would always win not because TUSK couldn't do it but johnny himself would be the weak link that will be the decisive factor of the fight.

2:10- till JoJolands’ main villain comes around with their innate or broken last arc power-up being somehow more broken

what if johnny enters his wormholes and shoot from there, he is untouchable inside the wormholes isnt he, then he could keep throwing pebbles at wonder of u until tooru or wonder of u touches one of them, it would be so funny bc if johnny actually is untouchable inside the wormholes he could be just spamming pebbles from the wormholes until something works, imagine u just see a hole in the ground with a hand coming out of it just picking  up pebbles in the ground and throwing them at an old man in the street

The infinite rotation would bypass and destroy wou if it went off, but it has to be aimed and shot and johnny would be dead well before it gets to that point

Mentioning the association fallacy is so important, thank you. The whole “Tusk and Soft and Wet are just the same power” thing is idiotic. It’s like saying “The World and King Crimson are the same because they both use time”

What is kinda cool is that Wonder of You When fighting Johnny in ASBR he is the only character that makes him tense. He says stuff like that he better needs to avoid him.

For me, Tooru is rock, Josuke is paper and Johnny is scissors.

Didn’t Johnny’s child lose to a curse or something, Johnny even tried using the holy corpse. WOU would scale, since he’s calamity, this was chapter 18 of jojolion. Also I commented this without watching the video so sorry if METAs already went over this. Oh jobber goes over it great! 😊
