Ann's vocals are a force of nature. She can whisper like a soft spring breeze, or she can howl like a hurricane. And she's always 100% in control of that magnificent instrument.

“I want to know what love is” is a song by Foreigner.

You have to do their cover of Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center. One of the best live performances ever. Her voice in her 60's is still one of the greatest female vocals of all time.

Ann Wilson has one of the most powerful voices in rock!! She is absolutely incredible!!!

This is a classic 'power ballad' of the 80s. And "I want to know what love is" by Foreigner is another one.
Power ballads were almost a genre in itself.

Yes this is 80’s Heart Nancy the guitarist sings These Dreams!✌️😊

Bro.... Check out their KENNEDY CENTER cover of STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN! They literally blow the socks off the three remaining members of Led Zeppelin to their face😂😂😂😂

Magic Man is a must listen from Heart imo. Love that you are doing them because they really are an amazing band.

Ann Wilson - singer. Nancy Wilson on guitar.  They have a wide range of songs. Second Stairway to Heaven at Kennedy Center to honor Led Zeppelin. Great Reaction.

80s Heart is different than 70s Heart. Still amazing though! Anns voice is timelessly amazing! Nancys guitar playing is iconic! These ladies inspired lots of women in rock. They proved we can. Magic Man, Crazy on You, Dreamboat Annie, What About Love, Little Queen -the entire album! Just some suggestions.

Pat Benater and Joan Jet both great female singers to check out!  Love your pod cast!!

2026...still a Masterpiece !!

Heart: Dog and butterfly. One of their best songs imo.

You should check out Pat Benatar. Another big voice from the 80’s. Anne Lennox from the Eurythmics has a beautiful voice as well.

Just remember that Alone (1987)came 10 years after Barracuda (1977).  so of course they are going to have a little different sound.  All great rock bands have ballads and this is one of the great ones!   ❤

The song that's replicated over and over and over again, and never duplicated.

That last sustained word, VERY hard to do.

THE best female rock vocals of all time, this woman has an amazing voice and she still sounds the same if not even richer and better. You should do their rendition of stairway to heaven performed for Led Zeppelin who specifically asked for her to sing it, and which made them cry, even Obama was crying at the induction concert.

This is what was called a “power ballad”.

This is 80's era Heart, and they still kicked ass

These videos from 80s MTV ,thats was a great era
