2:31  lol she came up with that name so quick because Moses means “drawn from the water”

I’m not a christian but I can appreciate good movies and this a PERFECT movie

It took the artists 2 years to animate the parting of the sea scene. It turned out so beautiful.

People sleep on the fact that Dreamworks got representatives from most of the major Abrahamic religions to sit down and actually agree about the way they chose to depict this story and it was the studio's first project ever.

As a devout Christian, this is my favorite animated film. The story, the animation, the music, the epicness and the grandiosity, the portrayal of God and the plagues....I've always loved the account of Moses and will love this film forever.

The moment when you realize that God has defeated every egyptian Gods with the 10 plagues

Each of the plagues was essentially a direct assault on the sovereignty of one of Egypt's deities: the River, the Sun, cattle/crops, weather, etc.

The music in this one is peak.

As a Christian myself, I love what you said at 29:00 Believing or not, we can all enjoy a beautiful work of art. The score, the animation and just the story. One can appreciate something and see beauty and not believe. That's a respectful and human way instead of judging or mocking or getting angry. If we had more people that think like that, the world might be a bit better off but there's so much...hatred and just judgement :( We all need to remember at the end of the day is that we're all human and only human. And each of us matters, even if you don't see or feel it so for anyone reading this, you're loved and hope you have a wonderful day/night/week <3

Interestingly enough, the ten plagues portrayed within the Bible are a direct attack against each egyptian God.

Best animated movie ever. Top 5 movie for me.

RIP Val Kilmer (voice of Moses)🖤🕊️✝️
This movie is still such a artistic masterpiece not just as an adaptation of story of Moses but as an animated movie in general and still probably my favourite religious animated film.
The downfall of Rameses is especially one of my favourite aspects of the movie as Ralph Fiennes does a phenomenal job in the role and seeing the two brothers fall apart was so heartbreaking and tragic.
The music especially was fantastic as I absolutely loved songs like Heavens Light and Let My People Go during the montage of the plagues hitting Egypt.

This is the one movie that both religious and non religious people can agree is good.

Now that we are watching dreamworks you absolutely need to watch The Road to El Dorado. Please.

I will never not cry MULTIPLE times when watching The Prince of Egypt.

ONE OF THE BEST FILMS EVER! 😭💔🔥

7:18 he was whistling that tune when he was sewing up the baggie and talking to Rameses

Best film in dreamworks

The song "Ashira" (The Song of the Sea) is in the Bible and believed to have been sung after the Hebrews escaped.

I'm an Atheist,  but I love this movie.

My favorite animated movie ever! Later in my college art class my art teacher was one of the artist that worked on this movie. He’s the one that did the art work for Moses
