Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a 2026 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man. The film was directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, and stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Florence Pugh, Tramell Tillman, Marisa Tomei, and Mark Ruffalo.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) takes place four years after No Way Home. With the world having forgotten Peter Parker, he has thrown himself into protecting New York as Spider-Man. But watching MJ and Ned build lives without him makes his isolation increasingly difficult to ignore.
When his powers begin changing in dangerous ways, Peter turns to Bruce Banner for help. Meanwhile, attacks on the Department of Damage Control pull him into an investigation involving a mysterious figure capable of controlling other people, with Frank Castle becoming an unlikely ally.
The figure is Jean Grey, played by Sadie Sink, who is searching for her missing sister. Her ability to move her consciousness between bodies makes her difficult to track, but Peter gradually discovers that there is more behind her actions than he initially understood.
After uncovering Damage Control’s experiments, Peter realizes Jean needs help rather than another enemy. Protecting her forces him to risk everything, while the aftermath gives him an opportunity to start rebuilding the human connections he thought he had lost.
