I wouldn’t call Frollo’s feelings towards Esmeralda love at all. It’s more like Lust.

Isn’t the opening song PHENOMENAL?! I get chills every time. And then Quasi’s “out there” is so beautiful. Tom Hulce’s voice is so dreamy

You NEED to watch The Prince Of Egypt! Its like top 3 animated movies EVER.

Disney films begins with murder and attempt baby killing?! Disney had gut's all those years ago. Frollo is absolutely terrifying villain. Not because he is over the top like Scar or Hades but because is so real. Such people exist and they are terrifying. No misunderstood villain, no trauma behind evil actions, just pure, undilluted evil and self rightousness. Absolutely god tier villain with god tier villain song!

FINALLY, MY FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIE

Quasimodo saw Esmeralda as an angel, Frollo saw her as an object, and Phoebus saw her as an equal…..and that’s why she chooses him.

So interesting to see how oppositionally Quasimodo and Frollo perceive Esmeralda's radiant charisma: as "Heaven's Light" and "Hell Fire", respectively! It really shows how your mindset affects your worldview...

Frollo doesn’t love her he lusts after her. He still thinks her and her people are evil

That opener is literally my favorite of all the old Renaissance Disney movies! Not just because of those final notes, but that line “WHO is the monster and WHO is a man??” Gives me chills every. Single. Time.

YEEEEEEEES finally this movie, it has one of the best soundtracks ever

Welcome to one of the darkest, most wonderfully sung movies of the Disney canon.

Frollo has no guilt, no conscience, no remorse. His only god is his own perceived power.

Frollo is the best Disney Villain OAT

My favorite! It’s funny cause me and my wife literally had an argument who the most evil villain in Disney movies, and I argue it’s Frolo. He was trying to commit genocide against the Romani, was trying to “cleanse” Paris of corruption without doing anything about his, nearly killed a baby, BURNED DOWN HALF OF PARIS all for a woman he was going to take. Frolo is pure evil for no other reason than to be evil.

Disney in 1990’s was like a shooting star… everything was beyond comprehension.. the stories, the animation, THE MUSIC! We truly experienced a beautiful moment in time with these works of art 🥰🌠🎬🎶

There was no need for the opening song to go so hard at the climax. But he did. And it is amazing.

Frollo is an example of how to write a perfect villain

Peak Disney villain tbh

It's not the world that's negative, its the people that make it negative.

OK, random fact that I just learned.
Frollos horse is a Fiersian breed, and I’m not 100% sure if this is true yet, but I’m hearing multiple sources say that his fucking horses name is snowball. That black as night horse, is named SNOWBALL?! I love it

EDIT: ITS TRUE! ITS IN THE DIRECTORS COMMENTARY!!
