one last thing to point out about games is I play my online games on consoles mostly! singleplayer games and other indies stayed on my handhelds already so this was an easy transition :p

also, I have a Max model! I bought it before the price hike and only got the max for pc games :)

also wishlist Wicked Delights bc I am very good at my job: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4363380/Wicked_Delights/

noticing how people throw around 'larp! poser! fake fan!' accusations mostly towards ones who have decorated game consoles like god forbid people wanna personalize the things they use

@dmfyre 2 months ago

calling someone a larper for decorating their stuff is like calling a gamer a larper for using an rgb keyboard lol

The fact you can just close it, drop it in your bag and not worry about scratching the important parts (eg the screen) is the main reason it is such a nice handheld concept, specially now that I've got a switch 2 and I just don't carry it around because of this.

If you think about it, actually playing your games is the ULTIMATE larp.

@enorma_stits 2 months ago

i remember this awful yt video where some guy was accusing this person with a kawaii style 3DS of 'larp' and one of the reasons was 'there's too many games' like huh 😭😭😭

This might be my favorite video on the Thor, actually talking about games that play well on the form factor (not just the hardware) and GUSHING over fun games I haven't heard of. 10/10.

10:00 for the warframe issue you're having, I may have a fix. If you swipe down from the top screen, there's a button called "L2/R2 mode". Try switching that to "Analog". The Thor defaults it to "Both", I've had the same issues with some games and this normally fixes it.

if this wasnt so expensive i would get it

I barely go out but I still recommend adding a lockscreen. With pincode, u can use ur buttons for using the pincode just like Steam Deck's. Also added an airtag with the lanyard. Its a special device for me I do not want to lose or someone steal it.

when it comes to YouTube on the Thor, personally I use SmartTube as it works with the controller buttons. But it's also more TV focused in terms of its UI. It uses horizontal space better than vertical.
You can also use the force Portrait/Landscape option when you press the ayn button

2:05 Pocket flip 2 owner here! The main issue with the hinge was a manufacturing error in the first batch, that's since been fixed (there was a corner putting too much pressure on the hinge, and it has since been rounded down in order to decrease the risk of breaking.) Never gonna defend a company but Retroid (who also make AYN consoles lol) dealt with the issue relatively quickly.

I love listening to people yap about this device. I enjoyed every minute of this video. If you made hours more content yapping about what you're passionate about, I'd watch it all

if only the prices wasnt so cooked in my country, the thing goes for the same price as an ipad mini a17 pro

The price increase got me tempted to sell away my batch 2 max model 😭 as much as I loved it.. I haven’t been using it much now. It had an opposite effect for me. I’ve now gone back to collecting retro games and hardware
