Yanagawa canal Cruise is one of Kyushu's most beautiful cultural experiences - a 400 year old canal town built on waterways over 2000 years old .
Today i take you on the famous " kawakudari " boat ride through willow trees , stone bridges, and historic samurai-era canals . This peaceful cruise ends at the legendary Ohana estate, the heart of the old Yanagawa.
The relaxing 1 hour boat ride starts near Nishitetsu Yanagawa Station and finishes in the cultural heart of the city , where i walk through the old streets talking to shop owners and experiencing the past samurai history.
