on the final comparison where i showed the distance you'd travel from a lifetime of scrolling, for some reason i mistakenly interpreted 13,844 miles as 13,844 kilometers during editing in my head, and so I animated that earth comparison on a whim 😭😭😭😭

in reality the distance would actually be MUCH longer, nearly doubling the earth's diameter (13,844 vs 7,926 miles).. which funnily enough would strengthen the point of the video even further lol

also i added an extra zero at the end of the step count

also i used a picture of the moon hyperion instead of phoebe 🫩

i don't doom scroll, but i do scroll on my homepage to find a video, like this one ehehehehehe

Tikok genuinely changed the world I didn’t even like scrolling with a instant playing video until every single platform added it

1:17 nah, you were just scared at what your feed was going to show 💀

and my friends think I'M WEIRD for NOT SCROLLING

2:30 oh thank god he put the metric unit on screen too, i just prepared to manually convert everything

And thank God I don't use tiktok for my doomscrolling. I doomscroll only like 20 minutes a day and I watch the entire shorts every time.

My fingers have walked so far

9 hours is actually crazy - like bro, your friend scrolls more than he probably sleeps!

This is why long form content is goated

0:12 Bro knowing how many miles I have scrolled isn't going to help much

This made me feel better and worse because I only use YouTube to watch reels and stay till the end of each video but I lowkey spend atleast 3 hours a day on it 😭

Blud is scrolling on Minecraft 🥀 3:30

1:32 you probably have a gun in the other hand 😂

You aren't just scrolling down a screen; you are scrolling away your attention span, original thoughts, and ambition one endless mile at a time. The algorithm didn't win your time—it captured your baseline focus. Pure gold.

This is why I have a flip phone.

Great analysis dude!

Welcome back 🎉

1:10 almost thought this was the intro to a sponsor 💀
luckily it wasnt

I usually scroll like 20 shorts, then realize I am scrolling and need to stop. Then I get back right at it like 10 minutes later and repeat this process.

Thank you so so much for adding the cm/km aswell because as a European when people start talking about inches and miles I never know how much that actually is
