this walked so obsession could run

The cooking kid got off too easy. The other two brother literally had to undergo psychological torture and become shells of their former selves, and the cooking kid just gets better at cooking.

Dang, it’s hard to think Zendaya started off with smaller films like No Way Home, I’m glad to see she’s making in the big leagues with movies like zapped.

6:54 entomologist here, this is such a weird thing for them to include in the movie because the information is only very vaguely accurate, like yes sphodromantis viridis is a species of mantis, they’re commonly kept in captivity, but they wouldn’t be learning about that species in a high school science class in los angeles because it is found in the sahara desert??? not to mention that the drawing on the board is 100% not sphodromantis viridis and is probably a more common species like mantis religiosa or tenodera sinensis??? also he mentions the phylum and class for some reason but those are larger taxonomic groups that can be inferred from the species name that he already said??? plus he pronounces arthropoda wrong (it’s are-thruh-POE-duh)??? why does he have the strangest most oddly specific knowledge of mantises this scene is so funny to me

The love interest has an ungodly resemblance to charlie kirk and I can't unsee it

I can vouch for the "gross cooking brother" being totally real because I have one.
When he was little he made a water sandwich which was just soggy bread and recently in his 20s he tried to give his pot roast a smoky flavor by putting incense sticks in it. My dad got food poisoning

7:26 wtf is big Kirk doing in this video 😭

I read a book when I was younger called "Boys Are Dogs" and it was almost this exact premise, except it wasn't magic, it was just a girl using psychology from a dog training book to make boys better behaved 😭

I like to believe the cool-dude doesn’t know anything about other bugs or really much in general, he’s just really really enthusiastic about praying mantises

The love interest guy definitely only knows about preying mantises because he’s had to retake that class like 4 times. Why can’t more guys get women by memorizing the lessons that they’ve been learning since 1975???

But forreal though, WHY DOES EVERY DISNEY MOVIE NEED A QUIRKY CHARACTER THAT WEARS A FEDORA?

So one brother got crippling OCD, the other became disabled and incapable of doing any of his usual activities, and the third just became a professional chef.

“And then at one point she forces the love interest to kiss her”
Ah yes
sexual assault in a kids movie

She gave one brother hygiene centered OCD, she gave one an immediate skill so he can be her personal chef, and she turned the other one into a moth....... Ah yes good job.

I went to High School with the kid who played the gross cooking brother- We were both in the drama program together. One time he was paired with me for a tableaux project and showed up late. He decided he wanted to be ‘the table’ in a piece about a wedding?? When I questioned him on it, he showed me a selfie of him with Zendaya, said she was his future prom date, and that I knew nothing about acting until I was a Disney child star like him.

I have been waiting so long for someone to make a video on this movie just so I can share this story. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

i would get every single dollar in the world and give it all to danny if he would react to descendants

Zendaya: looks like a fairly normal teenager

Zendaya's love interest: a 30 year old business analyst

This movie is filled with the dark magic that comes out of Zoe's sparkly pink phone

I like the implication that the stepdad has never interacted with Zendaya. He and the mother moved in together in one day, the day after they got married. And they never introduced their children

15:24 DOESNT this count as sexual assualt
