a note on old acrylic yarn: it's what my grandparents used to crochet with, and I've used quite a bit of it. I was always told you're supposed to soak it in vinegar after you're done with a project, and it really helps. Honestly, I do that with my acrylic in general.

Just found your channel and subbed for sure. I have been doing the roulette for about a year it’s great to see someone else doing it. I got way too much yarn when Joanne closed I have to do it. I have 30 plus shelves it helps.

This was fun. Love Howard! Love the idea of doing an ornament a month instead of waiting until last minute like I always do, but I can see how it could move from joyful to a sense of obligation if I fell behind. I'm stash busting acrylic as quick as I can with blankets, home decor, bags, and donating. I don't enjoy it enough to make more intricate items with it anymore. I hope this brings you joy. This was fun! I keep watching "using my stash" videos and half the time I exit them because they aren't helpful. I think this is something I might actually try! Last year I did a spin the wheel for Christmas gifts for people. I had every one's name I wanted to make something for and as I got their names I work on their gift. Some I had plans for and some I didn't figure out what I was doing until I got their name.
