It is so refreshing to see someone actually use their stash 😅 There are so many that mention that they wish to have a smaller stash, and then a few videos later - huge hauls, forgetting goals, saying that they will go back, just knits this new thing quickly, then loose motivation to finish it too (maybe complications appear). It is totally fine, everyone is free to do what they want and change their minds. But it is so nice to see someone who feels like actually following their goal, finding new ways to reach it - randomizing with bingo or following inspiration with bags 😊 Good luck to you!

Oh my gosh I’ve never thought about making gift bags! I just inherited some of the yarn stash of a deceased relative and there was a lot of red and green yarn. This is perfect project to use it on!

I'm a tight knitter and have the same problem with colorwork when I'm not double knitting. What's helped me is turning the project inside out so the floats are outside while I'm working on it, since it helps me loosen up and not pucker color to color. And sometimes you just have to match yarns with their plies and weights closer since fluffier yarns are the bane of my colorwork existence.
