We spend a lot of time on these little guys and want to share our work. Why not spend a little time to take quality pics of your awesome model?
With a couple bucks in materials and a smart phone it's pretty easy!

Short, to the point and understandable. Nicely done.

Really interesting video; will have to save it for future reference 'cause I'll NEVER remember everything you mentioned.

Had no clue about that stuff. I use backgrounds. Used clouds when I photographed my airplanes, Works great. Thanks.

Really good tips. I have a DSLR but have been using the camera in my iPhone 15 quite a bit - quick, easy, and actually pretty good quality. In fact some of best more recent photographs have been using nothing more than my phones camera much to the dismay of many of the local camera equipment snobs.
Rather than use a voice activated shutter, why not give one of the very inexpensive ( Amazon Ebay etc ) blue tooth camera/phone shutter release devices. About 10 bucks, pairs with your phone easily, at least the one I got did, and works from up to 90 feet away although I don't image you would need that kind of range in the workshop ;)
I have really been enjoying your postings and always impatiently waiting for more.
cheers Graham

I am a photographer and use my professional camera and stuff and it's great. I in general don't use a phone camera ever...thanks for sharing...

What a very useful “how to” Kevin. I have been into photography for at least 25 years and anytime I took a “posed or staged” photo
I would use a DSLR and use my phone for casual shots. Even with the huge improvements in cell phone photography capabilities over the years. After watching this video I am going to give the phone a try. Thanks, Kevin.

Love your videos man ! Straight to the point ! What editing app do you use? I’m about to dive into making YouTube videos myself but have no clue where to start

For as zoomed in as you are, it's a shame to keep the seam between the two foam sheets, right in the middle of the model shot.
Nice photos otherwise.
