Shane driving to Gettysburg after his girlfriend gets a male college roommate  is so insanely funny

That thumbnail is WILD

I could listen to Shane talk about history forever

My God, first thing i see here is probably the best pitch for a comedy movie ever with two of the best characters for it on the show.. nice

20:30 dang Shane sounds sooo young here while Matt sounds exactly the same 😂

A thumbnail even Shane would be proud of

Louis CK is very into it as well lmfao that was a great CONVO LMFAO

Civil war comedy starring Shane as Custer, Danny McBride as Grant and Adam Ray as Lincoln.

Omg I just clicked the thumbnail, “comedy civil war movie…” IM DEAD

The last British bayonet charge was 2011 in Afghanistan - ammunition running low and pinned down by heavy machine gun fire.....a bunch of Welsh soldiers thought fuck it, fixed bayonets and charged the Taliban.
Which sounds silly, but imagine some very irritated British working class young men, not having experienced sunlight growing up, pinned down in the burning heat of Afghanistan?
"The aggressiveness of their action surprised the enemy and caused them to flee". Damn right.

Closest thing I can think of to the movie concept he was talking about is the apple dumpling gang

"Our American Cousin" was the name of the play Lincoln was assassinated at.

Jesus this is fantastic therapy

Sprinkled with enough facts to sound believable to his boys

I gaze upon Vicksburg battlefield every now and then, very eerie and you can almost see and hear the battle. Gave them rebs hell.

Good the bad and the ugly best civil war comedy

Shout-out to Gen. Chamberlain and the 20th Maine Regiment for holding the line.

28:30 is one of the reasons I truly enjoy hearing Shane on his podcast, being a guest on others podcasts, and obviously his stand-up; he's very very obviously an intelligent dude who is able to extrapolate out/take facts from both the past as well as modern events and give good, intelligent answers to peoples questions/good responses to peoples statements like what his friend said about a modern day civil war

They did make a civil war comedy its called "The Civil war on drugs" its amazing

I will say my sibling is was diagnosed with Asperger’s (now it’s ASD). Sucked at school, struggled socially, then entered the army and killed it (literally)😊
